I love all the Bible journaling or illustrated faith photos I see on Instagram. What I love about illustrated faith (or bible journaling) is the fact that it brings the word to life in a new way. If you haven’t ever searched #IllustratedFaith or #BibleJournaling on Instagram, you should do it! There are so many talented people out there! I am not one of those artistically talented people; thankfully my Daddy God loves anything I do to get closer to him. To be completely honest, my drawings are pretty simple. In fact, they probably look like a child drew them. So I wanted something where I didn’t have to free hand every page in my simple way but rather have an artistically beautiful page in between, that’s when I came across the Inspire Bible on Amazon!
I picked up one for myself when it was on sale, and I couldn’t wait for it to arrived. I was not disappointed; I was so excited to dive in! This bible is beautiful from the cover to the art on the sides, to the pages within it. The drawings and writing are stunning throughout the entire Bible from the opening cover to end cover.
If you are looking for a Bible with devotions in it, then this isn’t the bible for you. The Inspire Bible is a New Living Translation and all scripture and art. The extras are the index, the note to the readers, information about the NLT, the books of the Bible listed both by Old and New Testament as well as alphabetically, and at the end there are some listed scriptures of interest.
Inside the pages, along with the words, are beautifully drawn scriptures. Some may be just fancy writing while other pages have drawings. If you want to free hand some of your art, no worries, there are plenty of blank journaling pages! Right now I am using colored pencils and gel pens to illustrate my faith.
Here is the first page I completed in my Inspire Bible
I love how at the beginning of each book of the Bible there is a theme to go with that book.
I love getting in the word, and I love that this Inspire Bible brings the Word to life in a new way. What excited me, even more, was when my daughter says it, she was in complete awe and wanted one of her own. It’s so important for my children to trust God and get in the word, and if this is a way that will help accomplish that, I am all for it. Bible Journaling is such a beautiful thing, though it can be a bit daunting when you see some of the amazing photos already out there. This Inspire Bible is perfect for newbies or seasoned journalers to bring the word to life. And because it will make you want to get into the word, you will build that closer relationship with the creator. So, head over to Amazon (my affiliate link is below) and check out the Inspire Bible, along with some of the other great journaling Bibles and supplies they have.
I will love to know if you have ever journaled in your bible. Please leave a comment with your Instagram handle if you share your bible journaling and illustrated faith. I would love to check them out! Until then, take the time to get in the word and let God speak to you!

I have lots of Bibles but I’ve never heard of this one. The pics are a nice addition and really doesn’t take away from reading. This is a good Bible for kids or adults and can inspire more reading time. Thanks for the share.
