When my family goes on vacation, we are looking to do a couple of big activities and maybe a nice dinner or two. We simply cannot afford to take five people out to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day for a week. That’s the beauty of Westgate Vacation Villas in Kissimmee, FL. You get a “home away from home” where you can keep some groceries and whip up quick dinners and lunches so that you can keep costs down and focus your hard earned dollars on the attractions that you came to see. Not only do you get a comfortable place to stay, you get a lovely community to return to and hang out in after your day’s activities. On top of that, it’s right smack in the middle of all of the action. It’s only a mile from Disney and pretty close to all of the other area attractions.
This is not just a hotel to stay at, Westgate Vacation Villas is a place to live in for a week. The palms definitely let you know where you are at and the pools, playgrounds, and mini golf give you something to do when you just aren’t up for a grand adventure. If you just need to relax a little, go for a walk and take in the lovely scenery that is such a part of this resort. Whether you are headed up to the little grocery for some supplies or skateboarding around the property, you’ll find yourself in no hurry around this place.
Even if you are watching your budget, you’ll probably have a night where you don’t feel like making anything, but you don’t really want to go out either. Head up to Westgate’s resort restaurant, Draft’s. Grab a beer and some dinner and just take a load off. Hey, it’s vacation, right?
When you pick a place to stay for vacation, you have a couple of choices. You can go upscale and spend boatloads on fancy place that serves all of your needs; you can go cheap and get an uncomfortable bed to crash on, but have to pay for all of your meals; or you can split the difference and spend a little more to set up a comfortable base of operations that still lets you save a few bucks on food for the family. Next time, I’m in Kissimmee, I’ll probably be at Westgate Vacation Villas again.

If it’s my HQ for the trip, I’ll splurge a little bit because it’s a vacation and the hotel is part of the experience for me. It definitely has to be centrally located too.
Comforts of home, but I like it to be reasonably priced too!
When we vacation, I want the comforts of home, especially when traveling with my children.
I love staying at hotels with kitchenettes and a separate dining and sleeping area. I like to feel at home while on vacation.
I honestly have no preference as long as it is reasonably priced and nice. 🙂
