Thank you to Experience Kissimmee for making this post about Orlando Premium Outlets possible. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Who doesn’t love a little shopping? Sometimes it feels like we go on vacation just so that we can shop, doesn’t it? Maybe we just don’t seem to have as much time for “luxury” shopping when we are at home. Maybe that extravagant or indulgent purchase is just one of those small releases that we do as part of our vacation ritual. If vacation calories don’t count, maybe vacation dollars don’t either.
Regardless, it seems like most major vacation spots seem to be meccas for shopping. If you go to the right places, you might just find products that you cannot find in your area. If you go at the right time, you might just find some incredible sales! When I went to Orlando Premium Outlets, I was a good, dutiful husband and found the G.H. Bass & Co. outlet store to look for shoes for Beth. She has pretty specific desires when it comes to her sandals and Bass is one of the few that have met her needs. Our local outlet closed several years ago and she has been in need of some new sandals. Guys, if you want to win brownie points, buy her shoes! Even better was the fact that the shoes were on a “Buy 1, Get 2” sale! So I was able to get a pair of sandals for myself. Score!
Even if you aren’t in the market for some shopping, Orlando Premium Outlets is a great place for some people watching. People are out on vacation and are really relaxed. They really seem to let their hair down. Even watching the kids just have fun out and about is a great way for me to sit back and relax.
How much shopping do you do when you are out on vacation? Do you shop more or less? Why do you think you do this?

Oh we have been there, we usually hit the outlet malls every time we visit Orlando. We almost always leave with new shoes from Reebok.
There’s no shopping like vacation shopping! I spend more because I’m in vacation mode and not worried about it. 😉
You certainly had me at outlets! The only thing I love more than shopping is saving money while shopping.
This looks like a great place to shop.
You just HAVE to shop when you’re on vacation. Sure, it’s the same stores you may find at home but if you live in Seattle there’s nothing like shopping in Florida where you can find a bikini for sale in December. lol
I think I mostly do shopping on vacation bc I rarely do it at home!
I have to watch myself because I leave in Knoxville, not far from the Tanger Outlet in Pigeon Forge. 🙂
I do zero shopping on vacations. I only shop when I need something and I rarely need anything on vacation.
I love shopping especially when I’m getting a good deal LOL!
My oldest sister LOVES going to outlets, but I don’t like them that much, even though I LOVE bargain shopping. But then again, I’m sure Florida has WAY better outlets than Kentucky and Illinois (the only ones I’ve been to). 🙂
We definitely shop more when we’re on vacation. I think it’s because we have more time to actually browse and look at things we generally wouldn’t when we’re at home. Plus there are usually different stores to go to.
Looks like a great place to shop!
When my daughter was younger we always stopped there to shop for clothes.
