Fate has smiled on me yet again as I get nostalgic..

When I was a teeny bopper girl, I had but one love, and that love would be none other than…..

So to have heard rumors starting in January, mom can atest, I have been on the edge of my seat waiting for something concrete to come out. All the while I reminisce about the concert I went to, and watching the cutest one of all to me, Jon Knight

Well but what should happen on the Today show today! New Kids on the Block made the “official” announcement they have recorded a new cd and will be touring again. Now I am not sure if any of you remember the little girl on american idol that boo hooed when Sanjaya performed, well add about 15 or so years to her age and chop her hair off and that would have been me this morning when they raised the curtain to show the men I have loved since I was about 8 years old LOL. Especially when I saw my Johnny all grown up…

Needless to say they have continued to grow up and though they are all about 10 years my senior they look just as good to me now as they did to me when I was 8 years old. To know that i have watched these guys go from

to this (below is how they looked when i saw them in concert)

and now to this…

is amazing, they are still so good looking and in fact have gotten better with age in my opinion. They look very dapper in their suits and fixed hair, a look I could grow accustomed to.

So now that a reunion is on the verge (which kicks off May 16 on the Today Show) of touring, I must get myself ready, so I have already informed my husband that he will have the wonderful chance to accompany me to see the heartthrob band from my tween years. I am sure you can all imagine how excited he is about this but this is one concert I have to go to no matter the distance or cost, though if luck were anything to do with it, they would come back to Pensacola when I am down visiting and then I could really relive history by going with my mom. So hooray for New Kids on the Block! It’s about time they came back and made their fans dream come true!
