I love Secret Santa fun. This is no different. I am getting to participate in a Blogger Secret Santa tour thanks to Mom Central. I received a tad of information on the blogger I received, a budget and some information on how this was going to become not just a secret santa but a personalized secret santa. I’ll get to that in just a bit.
It’s always such a blast to find out some things a friend, co-worker, family or in this case fellow blogger like. Getting to pick out an item they want and sending it to them just makes my heart smile. One of my go to places for shopping during the holidays is JCPenney. They have such an array of items to choose from. Bedding to kitchen and clothes to handbags there truly is something for most everyone. Even toys for the little ones who aren’t quite as appreciative of the clothes and home stuff.
This year JCPenney is helping me have a little extra fun while being a Secret Santa to a fellow blogger. After checking out the massive selection of items online I finally chose just what to send the person I got. I had heard of the blogger I received to shop for but that was the extent of it. If I had to go on guessing I am not sure I would have done so good at the shopping. Lucky for me she was very specific and named several items she loved. *Let me just say I am so sorry to whomever received my name, I was very general*. After picking the gift I sent it over and that was done.
Next step was the personalization. This is where me being a smart phone addict comes in handy. To personalize you simply scan JCPenny’s new QR Code and follow the directions sent to you. They go a little something like this:
Or check out this video on how easy it is.
The process of personalizing my gift tag was simple. Other than it taking me a few records to get my words out right it was a painless and easy thing to do. I love that I will get to hear my secret santa’s voice when I get my goody and vice versa. So if you are playing Secret Santa this year, instead of the normal card to reveal who you are consider shopping JCPenny and using their fun QR Code to reveal your identity! I’ll be back next week to share with you what my secret santa got me and who it was. I can’t wait!!
Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of JCPenney and received a JCPenney Secret Santa gift and a promotional item to thank me for participating. For more on my policies please head over and check out my disclosure.
