It’s another sad ending to a reality television star. Russell Armstrong was the husband to Taylor, we got to see into the luxury lives of the couple (along with others) in the first season of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”.
Last night he was found dead in his friends home, of an apparent hanging according to Radar. He has been making headlines since appearing on RHOBH, lately it’s been more of the downside, with Taylor filing for divorce in July.
One wonders what could push someone to this point, Yes he didn’t want to do the show but it had to be something much deeper than that. I notice more often than not reality stars end up in some kind of tragedy. It makes you wonder what kind of toll really this takes on someone’s life or if reality television was just the icing on the preverbal cake to push them over an edge they were teetering on.
My heart goes out to his family and friends and especially his daughter who I am sure will have many unanswered questions. Prayers to those this is affecting.

This really broke my heart. No matter what he had or hadn’t done as a husband, it totally seems like the show and the pressures of the show exacerbated and maybe led to this event. I’ve lost a best friend to suicide and it is just the hardest thing. I can’t imagine having to go through that in the public spotlight.
