It’s Day 15 of the “30 Days About Me Series” and today it’s all about dream homes. I know for me I want it to be similar on the outside to something like this:
Now colors and all that could be subject to change but features, oh the features on the inside are where the dream part comes in:
- 5 bedrooms, 4 baths
- Each bath having a separate stand along rain style shower and garden tub bath.
- Master bath having his and her storage and sink areas as well as a urinal…yes I want one of those for my honey…and he can clean it.
- In the master I would love to have a closet the size of a bedroom, with an island in the middle w/ drawers for non hanging clothes.
- I also want a shoe wall in my closet and a mannequin so I can see how an outfit looks before putting it on.
- I want a modern themed living room with black & red as the color theme. A small computer desk for the kids computer and a television laid in the wall.
- I want a library with thousands of books on bookshelf walls and a nook to read. Also a homework area for the kids.
- An office with his and her desks, the big fancy kind LOL.
- The kids rooms will be designed to their liking with the boys sharing a bath that has individual toilet/sink rooms right off their room and the shower/bath area connecting between those.
- I want two kitchens. One with very updated appliances and an island with a gas range. The second kitchen I want completely 50’s style from the fridge style to the oven and all in between.
- I want a speaker system through the house that I can bluetooth my iPhone too for music.
- Definitely a 3 or 4 car garage.
- In the back I want an infinity pool with a jacuzzi that flows into it. An outdoor kitchen for entertaining.
- I want a full vegetable garden and chicken coop.
- I want a porch that wraps around the house completely and has swings or rocking chairs on the east and the west so I can take a cup of coffee and sit with my family to watch the sunrise and sunset. To pray together as we watch this miracle of God to start and finish our day.
That’s my dream home in a nutshell and I fully intend on having it one day. When I do you will all come over and we will have a fun get together okay. I guess we’re lucky, we already have some of those things in our home. The jack-and-jill bath (connecting between rooms), my parents closet is the size of a bedroom, they have a jacuzzi tub, my bro (who already moved out) my sis and I all have bay windows in our rooms, 2 living rooms, 2 dining rooms…it’s a pretty nice house. All the bedrooms are customized….my dad is in construction, he hires the contractors, so when our house was built, we pretty much got to pick what we wanted…but that was 9 years ago. I wanted completely different things when I was 14…now I want to move out!! We don’t have everything a dream house has, but we have a pretty nice house, and a lot of custom stuff…we’re lucky. errr…my parents are lucky. Of course, once we move out, things will be different…
You’ll put “you” into a house when you move out and make it just as amazing as the one you live in now 🙂
