Netflix Helps Brings Siblings Together

Netflix Disclosure

It’s not a huge surprise that at one time or another sibling will fight. I have watched my younger sisters aggravate each other, and you never have experienced a fight until you have a tiff with a sibling. There is just something about being a sibling that sparks the ability to push the others buttons with ease. Thankfully Netflix has siblings in mind with their sibling playlists! It’s a great way to put aside the differences (and hopefully forget what you were arguing about) and get in some great sibling time with the ones you love.

Netflix Shows for Siblings

For those siblings who are distant in age check out Home, Fuller House, and Dragons 2! I know a little something about having siblings who are WAY younger than me. I am almost 37, and I have siblings that are 30, 22, 17, 15, and 9! So there is a big gap between myself and some of my siblings. Thankfully Netflix has some shows that can bring us together and bring us some laughs!

Have a sibling that is the sweet to your spicy (or vice versa). Turn on Lego Friends, Dawn of The Croods, or High School Musical! Why not enjoy some sweet and spicy snacks like this Sweet Chex Mix or pick up some super spicy Taki’s! Make it a sweet ‘n spicy theme night in the house!

If you and your siblings can’t agree on what movies to watch, meet in the middle with movies like All Hail King Julien, Inspector Gadget, and Open Season 2. There are plenty of movies to keep the peace!

Finally, when we all grow up and stop fighting (do siblings ever actually stop fighting entirely), there are plenty of shows for adults to watch together or apart. Shows like Master of None, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and The Ranch will keep you hooked and have you binge watching episodes (say goodbye to life outside of the house for awhile) while you wait to find out what happens next. Drama, laughs, and maybe even some tears will tie you and your sibling together as you bond over Netflix.

If you still have the tendency to argue, or you and your sibling just are the “I don’t care what we watch” type of people, then use the Netflix Fortune teller to help you decide what to watch.  You can download that here and print it off. Or make your own. You and your sibling(s) can pick some of your favorite movies to put in the fortune teller and let it decide which one you are going to watch first!

No matter what movie or show you pick, let Netflix help you have some downtime with the one you love, the sibling, the one who will (hopefully) always be there for you through life. Now get ready to have some Sibling Nights In and pass the popcorn!

  1. 1

Netflix has so many awesome shows on and I really like a lot of good family shows that they have! For the price of a monthly membership-it is better than the high cost of cable.
