Nescafe Taster’s Choice Review

Nescafe

If you know me, you know I am a coffee lover. When I was contacted and asked if I would like to review the new Nescafe Single Serve Packets, I will admit I hesitated. After all, nothing can beat real coffee, instant did not have a good reputation in my mind and for no other reason than it was instant. So I decided I would at least give it a shot, what’s the worst that could happen, it would hold up to the reputation it had wrongly received right?

Surprise of all surprises, I loved it. Before I continue on with my written review let me tell you a bit about it on camera (we all know I like to be seen right):

So yes, my favorite was Vanilla but let me say that I love the simplicity and no mess of the Single serving packets.  You simply open the packet, pour it into your cup, add hot water, stir and enjoy.  Well, unless you are like me and love all things creamer, then you just add another step.

Some Coffee Facts For You (from the press sheet received):

  • Coffee is the most popular drink world wide with over 400 billion cups consumed each year.
  • The average cup of coffee is $4 at your local coffee house.  At three times a week that’s more than $500 annually.
  • People who buy coffee primarily at drive through windows on their way to work will spend as much as 45 hours a year waiting in line!

What I loved about the Nescafe Single Serve Packets:

  • Simple, all you do is pour the pre-measured packet into a cup and then add hot water and stir.
  • You can have 20/22 cups of coffee for the price of 1 coffee house coffee price (SRP is $3.49 for 22 original or 20 any other flavor).
  • Available in 5 different types: Original, Decaffeinated, 100 % Colombian, Hazelnut, and Vanilla.
  • No filters, coffee pods to clean up, all that you have mess wise is your cup and spoon.

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the Nescafe Single Serve Packets, and I fully intend on keeping them stocked in my house.  I won’t be getting rid of my Keurig for them just yet, but talk to me again if they come out with more flavors.  For now they work and I will drink them often, you can’t beat the price at $3.49 for 20 or 22 cups (my Keurig coffee is $9.95 for 18 pods which is 18 cups) and the taste and aroma of the in Nescafe Single Serve Packets, is wonderful.  They definitely get my vote, and will come in handy on the days when I am rushing around for that soccer game.

Nescafe Single Serve Packets are definitely A Daily Dose approved.  Not to mention if you are shopping for that coffe lover for the Holidays these would be a great addition to a “Coffee Lover’s basket” as a gift.  Happy Coffee Drinking!
