It’s a new year, a fresh start. For so many that means making New Years Resolutions! To lose weight, stop smoking, stress less, or buy a new purse (maybe that last one is just me) but so many make resolutions. I am not a big resolution maker, to be honest.
I prefer to set goals. Today on “Talking With Toni” it’s all about New Years Resolutions VS. Goals. Check out my thoughts and then share your thoughts in the comments below (if you are brave on video).
So what are your goals and/or New Years Resolutions for 2013???
Check out this article on Forbes for some tools to help keep those resolutions/goals this year.

We didn’t really set any new goals, but we took a look at some goals we weren’t really succeeding with, and we discussed how to do a better job with them. We split up our family chores differently, since our work schedules are changing with the new semester, and just generally tweaked our effectiveness.
those are great ideas. I need to do the chore tweaking in my house because somehow I end up bearing the brunt of the household work 🙂
We haven’t set any yet either. We need to sit down as a family and figure out how we want to make 2013 better than 2012.
To drink less coffee and get up earlier. Failed on both.
I’ve always said that I’m setting myself up to fail with resolutions, but I think that’s partly an excuse.
I actually don’t have any resolutions so far, I just want to continue doing as I am doing!
Same old, Get organized, Get Healthy, Stop spending money.
To lose the rest of this baby weight (cliche I know!) and get organized!
I agree and set goals too rather than make resolutions.
I don’t do resolutions either, just goals. I need to put mine down in writing. 🙂
I’ve made a resolution to do 30 days of commitments each month and so far, so good!
Some of my goals for this New Year is to get organized!!! I also want to start giving more responsibilities to my kids like chores.
My resolution is to be a better wife and to stop yelling at my kids so much.
I’m tracking my calories and drinking more water.
I set some goals for myself and hope I can achieve some of them.
I WILL get the weight I want to get off. I know that sounds like everyone else but I’m on my way and I plan on seeing it to the end.
Lose more weight and maintain that weight loss.
Healthier & more organized.
I don’t do it either because I feel like it’s a set-up for failure too. I don’t write goals down either though. I stink at planning, I guess!
Focusing on meal planning and budget this year!
