AREN’T YOU JEALOUS. No worries though, when we move back this summer you can all come to my house and party for vacations woot!!!
So we made it down, with stopping to tinkle, eat, etc. The usual 12 hour drive took about 14. Yes I was exhausted that night. We met up with my family at Xaxby’s for dinner (Kids eat free on Thursday night you can’t get better than that). Not to mention their Kickin Chicken Sandwich is awesome. Maybe that’s what we will do for lunch today.
Friday we got to see my “momma 2” aka my second mom and her daughter and grand kids, then we all went to the beach. The water felt like ice cold water and yet my two youngest thought it would be fun to get in up to their necks. Did the cold bother them not at all. So we left the beach with kids soaked in street clothes but having had the time of their life.
Friday night I headed to Pensacola beach with some of my awesome SANE high school friends. You know I have’t seen Paul or Lynsey in years…like since I graduated years and we picked right back up where we left off. Instead of conversations about the upcoming soccer game and who was dating who it was about kids and life. I love seeing old friends and seeing that while they have “grown up” for lack of a better phrase they are still just as awesome as they were back then. Unfortunately some I can say are still just as psycho as they were back then and then some changed for the worse, but the ones that count are still the same old friends and that I love.
Saturday we just ran around to a bunch of family and friends houses and then had an early evening home. I was going to try to go out with everyone again but dang this getting old crap messed that up. I was still trying to recoop from not getting to bed until 1:30 a.m. from the night before. I am pitiful I know. Late nights and I have never been super friendly LOL. But hopefully there will be much more getting together when we move back this summer.
Yesterday (Sunday) we went to church and then I headed over to eat some good cajun food with family. My kids enjoyed their Papa Chris time and just had a blast running upstairs and down. Followed by a church friends sons birthday. Anything that has trampolines, chips, hotdogs and cakes is like heaven to my kids. Then home for the night and a little rummy pre game with my cousin Crystal. Tonight is the big game…Pops, Trey, Crystal, me…it’s ON!! They are in a world of hurt and they just don’t know it…snickering…
All in all my trip has been wonderful so far, looking forward to the next few days with my Florida family and then I will head up to see my Italian side in Alabama. I can not wait to see my Maw :). Eat some awesome Italian food…homemade sauce, stuffed artichokes, Italian olives, Italian cookies. Just thinking about it is putting on about 10 pounds. I may have to email Richard Simmons when I get back to Arkansas.
So in ode to my vacation here is a little tune to get you moving this Monday “Vacation” by the Go Go’s
Go on one!!! Or wait until I am back in Florida and vacation to see me. Have a great Monday!!!!

Hope you are enjoying your time if Florida! My brother lives in Miami but I have never been there, but have been to Disney a few times. Don’t love the humidity there, though it is really nice.
Liked your video. You’re too cute!
