How Do You Say That Vlog # 5! Toni (Florida) Style

It’s the fun time again when Mama Dweeb hosts the “How Do You Say That” dialect vlog hop. These are so fun and I just love getting to hear the accents of others. If you want to join in this weeks record yourself saying the words and answering the questions (below my video) and post it on your blog. Then head over to this post on Mama Dweeb’s and link up your post or if you don’t have a vlog but want to participate just link the video link!

So here is my video for this week’s How Do You Say That vlog hop:

The Words:
Aluminum, Dunce, Wagon, Carolina, Later, Misery, Told, Brother, Lord, Beer, Homemaker, Vacuum, Washer, Respond

The Questions:

2. What do you call the candy you suck on a stick?
3. What goes on top of your “to go cup of soda?”
4. Is tea sweet or unsweet?
5. What is another way of saying someone is “new” to something?
6. What do you call a place that is not anywhere NEAR a city? “out in the….”
7. What do you call people related to you? “they are my…..”
8. What do tell your children to call another adult? Do your children call them by their first name? Last name?
9. Do you know what cheese curds are? if so, do you like them?
10. what is a way to say, “Yes, I agree”?

The following two tabs change content below.
Hi, I’m Toni — a mom of three, psych major, Gulf Coast girly, and full-time collector of life plot twists. I’m currently navigating mid-life with caffeine, humor, and the kind of chaos that deserves its own sitcom. Between college meltdowns, Disney escapism (hey adulting is hard and Mickey doesn't judge), family adventures, and whatever fresh nonsense life throws at me, I’m documenting it all with honesty, sass, and zero attempts at pretending I have it together. Welcome to A Daily Dose of Toni — the chaos era, but make it cozy.

I have no idea what cheese curds are either and said it was cottage cheese, lol!

  2. 2

You said “broth-uh” LOL! I love it. Breezers? Golf Breeze, that makes sense! I am learning so much through this vlog hop.

LOL Cheese curds are a northern thing – mostly a wisconsin food 🙂 Grinning Cheek to Cheek posted an introduction to them for me cause she is from Minnesota. Gotta love it.

Thanks for joining again! Have a great Sunday 🙂
