Eppa SupraFruta Sangria: Perfect For Get Togethers

I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Eppa SupraFruta Sangria.  I received product samples to facilitate to my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

Eppa Sangria

If you know me, you know I am not a big drinker.  I don’t like the taste of liquor, wine, beer, pretty much any of it.  I’ve had friends try to get me to try sweet wines and assure me, I would like it because it’s more sweet than alcohol tasting.  Then I tasted a Sangria…for the first time I was able to have a glass of wine and enjoy it.  When I was offered the chance to try out Eppa SupraFruta Sangria, I thought why not!

Sangria to me, just screams both romantic dinner out and fun night with friends.  It’s a great drink that really works for any occasion.  I am looking forward to having some friends over to enjoy the Eppa SupraFruta Sangria’s.  First, though, I wanted to make sure they tasted good, so my husband and I both had a little glass of both the red sangria and the white sangria.  I was not disappointed!

Red Wine Sangria

First, was the Red Sangria which is, of course, red wine with a blend of Pomegrantate, Blueberry, Blood Orange, Acai Juices, and Citrus Essences.  This was definitely more along my husbands line of enjoyment.  He enjoys a more “bold” wine.  While, I enjoyed the citrusy flavors in this wine, it was a little bold for my taste.   However, he thoroughly enjoyed the Red Sangria.  It wasn’t as bold as most red wines you try, so don’t let my “fru-fru” taste scare you away.   The citrusy aroma of this wine was divine.

White Wine Sangria

My favorite was the White Sangria.  Made with white wines, Mangosteen, Peach, Mango, Blood Orange Juices, and Natural Citrus Essences.  This sangria was a little on the sweeter side, I like to add a bit of tart to my sangria, so I added a little fresh lime.  It was light, sweet, and tart.  This is a sangria I could get used to enjoying…on a tropical beach preferably.

I love that it’s made with organically grown grapes, as well as, organic super fruit juices and it’s rich in antioxidants.  Usually, when I have wanted a sangria, at home, I have to have the wine, the juices, the fruits…with the Eppa SupraFruta it’s all right there in one bottle.  So, I get to just pour and enjoy.  I am thinking I want to try a frozen sangria using frozen strawberries soon, but I’ll wait until I have my guests over so they can enjoy the goodness too!

What if your favorite type of Sangria?

I will have to look out for the white sangria for my mother. She would really like this. Like your idea of adding lime for a tarter taste if one wishes.

My husband and I enjoy wine, beer and liquor on occasion. I used to like only sweet “fru-fru” drinks but I’ve learned to enjoy dryer wines like merlot, beers like Shiner Bock, and even liquors like Gin that I used to think smelled and tasted like aftershave. Drinking sangria reminds me of sitting in Parque Guell in Barcelona, Spain listening to Spanish acoustic guitar at dusk. I have a hard time finding a good sangria so I will be looking for the Eppa.

I was able to sample Eppa sangria at a tasting event I went to last month and loved it. The fact that it’s organic is just a big bonus!

I don’t think I’ve ever had white sangria. It sounds interesting -I’ll have to try it! 🙂
