I am a big fan of baking and making desserts. As I scoured Foodie.com I came across some major mouthwatering pies. So, of course, I had to start a collection to remember them all. Check out my “15 Savory Chocolate Pies” collection:
I don’t know which one I want to make first. The chocolate pecan pie is calling my name, and yet I would love to nosh on the Frozen Kit-Kat Pudding Pie. Chocolate is totally a weakness for me, so while this is a 15 item collection, I have a feeling it will grow in the coming weeks.
I, myself, have made the chocolate pie made famous in The Help, sans the special ingredient, and it was so good. It took a few trial and error sessions to figure out the best crust to use. I was very impressed with how delish it was and thus began my love affair with chocolate pies.
As I scour Foodie.com for chocolate pies, I have come across so many other types of pies. I see several collections being made in the near future. Tomato pie, shephard pie, cherry pie, apple pie, seriously, the list could go on for eons. For now, though, we are going back to the basics, the tasty basics….chocolate.
Let them eat cake is a saying many of us have uttered, but I say to heck with cake….Let them eat pie…Chocolate pie!

I would love to make that chocolate peanut butter pie first. I’m not much of a pie baker (except at Thanksgiving and Christmas), but these might bring me out of my pie-baking hiatus.

Chocolate pecan pie is probably my favorite chocolate pie ever. However a chocolate silk pie is in close 2nd!

Chocolate Mousse has always been my favorite. The Snickers pie looked good and pudding can’t be beat.

My husband’s birthday is coming up on St. Patrick’s Day and I always like to find new things to make him. He LOVES peanut butter, and that Frozen Peanut Butter Cup Pie looks perfect for him!
