Buongiorno! Bonjour! Buenos Días! It’s Day 14 in the “30 Days About Me” series and we are talking about the places we would love to go.
This should give you a hint as to one of mine:
Italy! I have wanted to go there for as long as I can remember. For those who didn’t know, I am 1/2 Italian and the 3rd generation on my father’s side to be born in American. Everyone before my grandmother & grandfather were born in Italy and my heart has longed to head over and see where my family came from. It has so much meaning to me and I will be honest, I am slightly annoyed that the crazies from Jersey Shore got over there before me (a whole other blog post LOL). I want to eat the food of course. I want to see the coliseum. I want to go to the museums and see the words of Leonardo Da Vinci and so many other artists. I will see an opera. I want to go to so many of the cities I think this will need to be like a 3 month long trip.
Another place I would love to go would be Paris. I want to go to the city of love. I want to go up in the Eiffel tower. I want to float down La Siene and see the Arc De Triumph! I want to eat a croissant and drink a cafe right there in the streets. I want to see every inch of the Louvre…even though it’s supposed to take weeks to make it through.
A place I want to return and visit again is Spain. I had the amazing chance to go there years ago on a mission trip and it was beautiful and the food WAS DELICIOUS! We went to Barcelona and the buildings were just amazing. I would love to return to Spain as an adult.
Hawaii, I want to go and see those huge surf waves I hear they have! Oh yes I do, however I will not be getting out in them. I would also love to go to Atlantis. Last but definitely not least I would love to go down to Orlando and take my kids to Disney before they get “too old” and think it’s not cool and fun. Oh and for me while there, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, yep I sure do! One day we’ll have the means

One of the things I’d love to do in Hawaii is (cue hiding from jealous stares) visit the places I used to live.
Yes, I lived there a bit. 4 years. I used to know how to hula dance and could even speak some Hawaiian. Had a good tan back then too. I betcha I probably had a grass skirt- authentic. I still have real puka shells hanging from my dresser mirror. I <3 Hawaii…
ok, so i know the housewives of NJ got there first (SORRY!) but i can tell them in person for you that it’s not fair!! i’m meeting Theresa in October, i’m so stupidly excited! ha ha. i want to see every place on your list 🙂 meet ya at hogwatrz!

I vote yes 🙂 Perfect Vacation, in fact let’s just make it a summer tour of Europe 🙂 However I will not be joining in the custom and going topless anywhere LOL

My family on my father’s side hails from Italy. What a great place. I once ran a dog sled race in the Italian/Swiss Alps. It was awesome!

Mine is the only one down under. I’d also like to go to Europe, especially Germany (I’m German, not of the Nazi kind), but there wasn’t room for it in the blog. I could go on for days. I’d also like to visit the places in Hawaii where I used to live (hehe) and the same in Florida (I was born there, I also vacationed there in 2001, it’s a very nice place).
I also want to go to Paris. I was supposed to go this month and it fell through so I hope to make it within the next year!
A round the world trip would be great. I also would love to visit Italy, Paris…. you know it! I do want to get back to WDW too. After being gone for 2 years, I’m ready to enjoy the magic again!

I haven’t been to wdw since I was 16 so I must take my kids I feel it’s something you just have to do 🙂
I’d love to go to Italy, too – Palermo, to visit my family – we still have cousins there – we just found out about them – its so neat!
And I highly recommend Paris – and yes, you should spend weeks there! 🙂 If you have time, check out Tours, France — I spent a few days there after Paris – and I liked it just as much (if not more!)
