We have a new book we are reading right now, The Contagious Colors of Mumpley Middle School, and even though we are just a couple chapters in, we are really liking it. My daughter is the one reading it right now, though I am sure my boys will check it out when she is done. So far, we have had laughs and moments of wondering what is going to happen. I can’t tell you what is going to happen but I can tell you we have been reading this together each night.
The main character, Wilmer, is on a mission to find what is ailing his classmates. Check out this trailer about the book:
About The Contagious Colors of Mumpley Middle School
If there’s one important thing Wilmer Dooley’s dad always says, it’s this: “Where are my car keys?”
Okay, maybe not that. He also says: “Observe!”
Wilmer has always known that the greatest science comes from the keenest observations. So when he observes his classmates looking a little green…and orange…and chartreuse-fuchsia polka-dotted…he knows that it’s up to him to find the cause of this mysterious illness—and the cure.
But with his arch nemesis, Claudius Dill, hot on his heels; the eagle-eyed biology teacher, Mrs. Padgett, determined to thwart his plans; and a host of fluorescent classmates bouncing off the walls at increasingly dangerous speeds, can Wilmer prove he has what it takes to save the sixth grade from a colorful demise before it’s too late?
Author, Fowler DeWitt, has geared this book toward children ages 7 and up and written it in a way that holds their attention. The story, so far has been fun to follow and I have no doubt the rest of it will be the same. Keep up with more about the book by heading to the official website!

This sounds like a book my son would LOVE
This sounds like a fun book my kids would love. I am not sure if the question for the giveaway is right, but I will answer that at Carter’s I would like to get my daughter the panda and polka dot pj’s.
I am not sure if the question in the giveaway tools is supposed to be the question for this giveaway (as you are not giving away a Carte’rs outfit). So I will answer the question and then say something about the book.. From Carter’s I love the sleeveless satin print dress. I think my girls would enjoy the book because my daughter is learning about observation in science and it sounds like a fun book. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway!
I think my kids would love this! It’s hard to find books that can keep my 9 year old boy interested, but this one looks like fun!
