Today is day 13 in the “30 Days About Me” and it is all about something or someone who has impacted your life. This could be recently or far back. I went with people for this prompt.
For me, of course, I have more than one so I shall share.
First is a person, though not physically seen, has impacted my life in such a way. Jesus. He gave me new life by taking all my sins as His own so that when I die I can live in eternity with Him. I have to say that He has definitely impacted my life. Please read more about my feelings on Him here and here.
Next, my husband and children. They have impacted my life in ways I never thought possible. There have been tears of sadness and happiness. I mean who thought when you see your child get hurt physically or emotionally how much it would affect you? Who thought that one man could make you feel like you are the most important person on earth? Who knew you would experience both unexplainable joy and frustration from the same people? Who knew you could love so deeply to lose any one of them would be a pain unbearable? My husband and children are definitely some of the ones who have impacted my life.
Last, but definitely not least, is my mom. She is a breast cancer survivor. Through the sickness and treatments she was always the one encouraging others. I have never seen such strength in my life. I am amazed at the person she is inside and out. Always reaching out and doing for others. She just returned from a mission trip to Nicaragua and Honduras. She is very simply put amazing.
Don’t forget to link up your Day 13 post in the linky below if you are a blogger participating. If you don’t blog but would like to participate please join in down in the comment section and share with us who/what has impacted your life.

I think time and situations and the people involved influence your life. You are so right, that there isn’t just one, but a handful of those significant people who mean so much to you.
Beautiful.

Great items. I must agree that all of those people have impacted my life as well.
Great post ๐
Praise Him for changing all of us!
I’ll be out of town the next couple of days and don’t know if I’ll have access to a computer. But I still have my posts scheduled for those days ๐
great post. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, many have impacted my life as well. I don’t know if I thanked you or not, Toni, for starting this challenge…. Thank YOU!
If you believe, how could Jesus not be your first choice? He was mine too ;] I am so happy to know that people are still influenced by family and faith! It just seems like too many turn to fame and media…so sad :[
Absolutely agree!
From all of your posts your family sounds just amazing. You all are lucky to have each other ๐
I am still catching up from the weekend. I like your list, especially what you have to say about your husband and family. Sadly, mostly, from women is grumping and whining and complaining about their husbands… even among Christian women. And I often think to myself, do these women realize they are responsible for shaping their children so if they are that horrible, whose fault is it???
Thanks for sharing,
Kat
True true! Thanks for your sweet words and I agree complaining does nothing (though I do catch myself in a frustrated moment doing it).
