#YourShape Game Giveaway for Wii {CLOSED}

In January I started working out with Your Shape as part of a challenge along with 10 other bloggers.  My journey is called Toning It Up With Toni is a weekly (though I haven’t got this weeks up yet, smacking hand) post telling you my progress in getting healthier with Your Shape by Ubisoft.  Your Shape is a fitness workout you do using your Wii.  Aside from answering a few questions it is controller free.

The first of it’s kind, it uses webcam technology to monitor the moves you do and correct you so you are doing the workout the correct way to get maximum benefits.  You can use items such as weights, body balls and more if you have them but if not no worries you will still get the ultimate workout.  Trust me I can atest to that, I don’t have any extra items, just myself and I leave the workout feeling well frankly put…sore, but a good sore like ” I worked by tail off” sore.

    Lifestyle changes I am making this year to live a healthier life:

    1. The first change is changing my attitude. I firmly believe that having a positive outlook will only benefit you in anything you do… and I am famous for not having the best outlook on life, so I’m going to change that this year! Yay me!
    2. The second change is to get out and do things to exercise that might be fun and somewhat easy to stick to. I’ve done the bowflex, I like videos, but all of that is kinda of boring sometimes. I’m going to find something not so boring. Wish me luck…
    3. The third change is to eat food made from more fresh ingredients… I want to see if maybe will boost my family’s energy and give me a healthier appearance. I figure I could buy wrinkle cream or fresh fruit. The kids I think would enjoy the fruit more. 🙂

    I am trying really hard to get in better shape before my DH deploys. I will be a single mom for a year and have 2 boys to keep up with. I figure I won’t have time to go outside the house to workout so I need to find something I can do at home.

    I think I need this because the gym is full of evil people (not you, of course) but all those young hot chicks. I am super self conscious and love to work out at home. I would love a program like this!

    Mostly i have been cutting out refined junk and eating more fruit and veggies. I tried to go on the treadmill and it killed me! So…I could use this Wii program to ease into some exercise. AND maybe I could do about 30 seconds of Pants on the GROUND…seriously, I could do about 4 seconds of what you did 1.57 on video!

    I had a baby last year… and one just a bit before that. So, the biggest change this year will be to not be pregnant or giving birth! LOL.

    Okay, I am getting out on a daily basis with the kids and a stroller, I am cutting back on my sugar intake and I am trying to make friends with beans & other alternate protein sources.

    I am trying to eat more veges and drink more water
    The area that i live in has a lot of ice and snow so it makes walking a bit difficult and when the snow is gone we get mosquitos and blackflies!

    I have a 7 month old son so finding time or energy to work out is almost impossible. I have been drinking more water and fewer sodas. I have also been trying to cut down on my meat consumption while increasing my veggie consumption.
