So you know I am all excited about 5 Minutes for Mom’s Ultimate Blog Party. Anytime I can get my dancing shoes on and put down a good jigg makes me happy. I am always amazed at how 5 Minutes for Mom out does themselves every time they do a new party.
If this is your first time heading over to my place, let me tell you a little about me. I am a mom of 3 beautiful children (check them in my sidebar). They are 3, 5 and 9 and well bluntly put drive me crazy most of the time, however I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love to have fun.
I take life seriously when I need to but otherwise I just go with the flow. I work 30 hours a week in the evenings as a Pharmacy Technician. My house is a mess during the week because working until 1 a.m. and getting up at 7 I just don’t really have the desire to clean until the weekends. An interesting tidbit about me….I had my daughter on my doorstep…yes you read correctly, ON MY DOORSTEP! I guess she just decided she just didn’t want to wait and out she came and she hasn’t stopped since.
I am a christian who spends time daily praying and reading the Bible. I had gotten off track for a long time in my life and it wasn’t until not to long ago it hit me what a difference it had made. I wasn’t bad but I just wasn’t spending time with God Daily like I used to. Somewhere along the way I had lost myself and pushed God to the backburner. I have no idea how I made it through that time in my life without Him at the forefront. Well yes I do, through his grace.
I have had horrible times in the last few months everything from being treated crappy by “friends” to finding out my mom, aunt and grandpa all had cancer. It was probably the hardest time in my life I had to go through. Even though I wasn’t as faithful as I should have been God still brought me through it all and in that put people in my life that have been such an encouragement to me.
I pride myself on being an honesty and trustworthy person. I would never do things to someone that I would not want done to me…hypocrisy is an unflattering characteristic. I have been happily married for 6 years this past February and as far as husbands go I have to go out on a limb and say I got the creme of the crop.
So that’s a little about me but ask away any questions you want to know, I love to answer them.
I can’t wait to “meet” all of you and hope to make many new friends to last a lifetime and of course really meet you in July at BlogHer (for those going).

Dropping in from UBP! I really like your blog and goodness you must be exhausted during the week especially! I have a grandmother that was diagnosed with two kinds of cancer in the same year, I know that can be very difficult! I also understand being treated “crappy” by friends! It was nice to “meet” you!

I want to know why it is, the second I start to get caught up and get on a roll, the phone rings, the door gets knocked on, and I’m up for the umpteenth time again? I’ve had this page pulled up for a good 1/2 hour now, only to be able to comment now, that the phone has stopped, the laundry is restarted, the kids have juice, the door’s been answered. UGH!!!

I love this whole blog party, thing. I love this post. Those pics are awesome 🙂 But what I love most about this party thing, other than getting to meet new people, is the surprise factor – that even if you’re a regular reader, you get to learn things you didn’t know about people. Like your daughter on you doorstep!!! LOL
oh my goodness, did my daughter just dump that out? Just now? Seriously, another thing to get up and tend to? My poor back. I just want to sit. *sigh*
