Awhile back I shared all about how I hope to prepare my daughter for the impending “growing into a woman” phase that will come. As I mentioned, I am a big fan of the U by Kotex Line. I currently use the CleanWear® Ultra Thin Heavy Flow Pads with Wings as well as the AllNighter® Overnight Pads. Unfortunately for me, as I’ve gotten older, I have had to deal with heavier periods which usually meant those bulky thick pads…that.I.HATED. The two products I use from U by Kotex, are not only able to keep up with my body’s needs, but are also super thin (yes even the overnight one). I am so loyal to the brand since I started using them a little over a year ago, that’s how good they are too me.

Periods aren’t fun (at least for me), but they are a part of life, so I make the best of them with the best products out there (which has come with a lot of trail and error over the years). If it’s something I have to go through every month, I may as well make the best of it and I hope to do the same for my daughter. I fully intend on making her a survival kit when she gets her first period and it will include a book, chocolate (of course), a sappy movie, tissues, and of course U by Kotex.

Pantyliners for thongs? Oh the thoughts….I really cannot imagine. Well, at least they are there if someone needs them.
I have prepped my oldest about the changes are soon to happen to her body. It’s so comforting to know there is a special product line to help make those first few years of womanhood easier!
Aubrey is not quite there yet…lol but it’s nice to know that our kids will have an easier time than we did.
I don’t have a daughter, but when I do she will use Kotex for sure.
Don’t even think of switching since you’re happy. You’d think they’d all be fairly similar but they’re not at all! Some are awful; some are fabulous.
I’m so glad I don’t have to have the “talk” with my daughter for many years!
