Tuesday’s Tidbits…90’s Edition

I totally should have done an Irish Jigg in lieu of St. Patty’s Day. So what are some of the fashions, shows, groups you loved from the 90’s? What about ones you didn’t like so much?

Don’t forget to wear green, Happy St. Patrick Day!

Hi! I'm Toni. I am a happily married, christian, momma of 3 living on Florida's sunny Gulf Coast. I am a lifestyle blogger and Seint Arist. I started blogging when my last child was born as a way to share my love of all things travel, cooking, beauty, recipes, and more. You’re so funny….I enjoyed your tidbits as usual. I loved slouch socks in the 90’s…or was that the 80’s? As I get older, I get more confused about the decades, fashions, etc.!

    Keep It Classy, Jen

OMG I LOVED SWV…”I get so weak in the knees I can hardly speak… I lose all control” LMAO!!!

  9. 9

I was in college in the 90s and I can remember going to class in black leggings and button down denim shirts…ah, memories. There’s NO WAY I can get away with wearing leggings now!

    Clarissa? Say it isn’t so.

I still use awesome and totally.

You’re from the 90’s. You are not OLD!

LOL You’re too funny! I remember all of that. Those crazy 90’s. lol

I wore overalls. All. the. time. And the neon clothing. Oh, what about snap bracelets. Remember those? I actually still have all of the ones I collected back then. They’re in a box somewhere. I also wore lots of flannels. I’ve actually seen some kids starting to wear them again. Yikes!

    Fun reminiscing. =)

I wore leggings all the time too, they were comfortable and versatile! I still say veg out and my grad year was ’93. Remember those were big years since the grunge movement took music to a whole new level!

  13. 13

I was in Jr. High and High School in the ’90s. I remember lots of hair scunchies and crazy dance moves. LOL.

As for music, I have too many favorites to name. I do remember first being exposed to Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Gin Blossoms, Tonic, and Fiona Apple (to name a few)sometime in the mid to late ’90s. Changed my life. :o)

  14. 14

Oh the memories!! Do you remember those shirts that changed color when you were hot or whatever? I wore them in middle school. And I totally rocked the leggins. Mine were black with lace around the ankle. I had a cream pair too that I wore with green shorts. LOL

Listened to SWV too!! I love that song Weak. My friends and I were/still am fans of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. Oh yeah!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Since you asked… I loved big hair bands singing power ballads (ie: home sweet home by Motley Crue).

I also love the after effects, like people talking about the 80’s in 2009 articles with interesting videos while wearing tight clothing (that’s not overly revealing of coursE) and a big smile.

May you keep having fun blogging until you’re writing about the “2000’s” but please… put away the tight clothing by “2020’s or 2030’s” ok? 🙂
