I am participating in the Verizon Wireless Ambassador program and have been provided with a wireless device and 3 months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product. For more information head to http://tiny.cc/VZWA as well as my personal disclosure under my PR Friendly tab.

Over the last month and the next few months I am going to be talking with you all about the new Blackberry z10. Once out of the box the first thing that caught my eye was how sleek this phone was. Thin, with a good size screen and not too heavy, those are important factors for this smartphone loving mome.
Here are the a few of the specs:
- Weight: 4.8 oz
- Height: 5.2 in.
- Depth: 0.35 in.
- Navigation: Touchscreen (with intuitive based navigation)
- Keyboard: On screen BlackBerry Keyboard (portrait/landscape), featuring contextual auto-correction, next-word prediction, and a personalized learning engine that gets to know the way you type
- Resolution: 1280 x 768 resolution, at 356 PPI, 24-bit color depth
- Screen Size: 4.2″ diagonal
- Operating System: BlackBerry 10 OS
- Memory: 2GB RAM, 16GB Flash (also removable memory available, using microSD card up to 32GB)
- Battery Life: Up to 10 hours talk time, 13 days standby (*Note: Battery life claims are for Model STL100-2)
- Camera: 8MP rear, 2MP front
The Blackberry Z10 comes preloaded with quite a bit of apps and I am anxious to see what their app stor consists of as I try out the new phone in my house.

There were some other goodies in the box that my z10 came in but you will have to wait for future posts to learn what exactly. I have high hopes for the newest in the Blackberry line, and that means a lot coming from me because I have never really been a Blackberry fan due to the tiny keys, I have always been more of a touchscreen keyboard kind of girl. With the Blackberry z10 I am getting my touchscreen and having the chance to try out a completely new and different operating system.
So keep watch over the next few weeks as I share some of my favorite things about the z10, some apps I love (or what I think is missing), accessories to go for, and whatever else I feel like sharing. This is one test drive I am looking forward to taking, I truly hope it holds up to my high expectations…only time will tell. Okay, I’m off now, to go play with my new toy….err test my new phone!
