I received a copy of The Prime from Harmony Books, who also sponsored this post, to share my unbiased opinions with you, my readers. I have had the book for a little over a week now, and while I have only read a small portion of the book, I am excited to see what Dr. Chaudhary has to share. I am ready for a healthier 2016, and I can’t wait to finish The Prime to see if this is something that will fit how I want to live!
So far, what I have learned is that Dr. Chaudhary started her path to becoming a neurologist when she realized that she wanted to more for her patients, better their health and so she changed her way of thinking. She went back to her roots and realized we need to prime our bodies to lose weight and really to be healthy in general. We are so adapted to unhealthy eating (even though we aren’t consciously doing it) our bodies don’t want to do what they need to when trying to lose weight, which is why we have to prime them!

My big thing is consistently eating healthy. I exercise a ton and am very active but I definitely need to cut out the unnecessary sugars that I’ve been eating
