CONGRATULATIONS to April G!
When I was approached to work with Tea Collection, I headed over to their site to look around and new immediately this was one review I wanted to do. The clothes they have are simply precious and my daughter could always use a new dress. So we browsed all the Girl’s Dresses together and she found a favorite. She likes colorful and decided on the Etla Stripe Mini Dress (which is now on sale at $19.50). I have to say she loves this dress and wears it quite often, usually she is passing so fast she is a blur but I did manage to get her still for about two seconds to snap a photo:
Yes our Christmas decorations were still up in late January when this photo was taken LOL. Anyhoo, back to the topic at hand. I noticed that the dress was well made and the colors were so vibrant. Even today, after over a month of washing, the colors still look just the same as they did when we first received the dress. Trust me when I say that’s not an easy task with my daughter. When she favors a clothing item like this one it gets worn A LOT and most of the time with all the washing the color fades badly, not so with this dress. Now whether that is luck, I am doing something right each time I wash it, or that it’s made to withstand the likes of my daughter I am not 100% sure LOL. I am thinking it is the later of the bunch.
A little bit more about Tea Collection the company:
Tea was started in 2002 in San Francisco with 3 beautiful, pima cotton baby sweaters and a vision of bringing the fusion of worldwide cultures and modern design to fashion. The fashions they have are dreamed up from their world travels and seeing so many different cultures. They design clothes for children ages 0-12 years and even started throwing in a little something for the women of the world in October 2010. Tea, the drink, is shared in nearly every culture around the world. Being Tea is about experiencing life together, even when we’re not in the same place. It means taking the time to understand and honor our differences. In doing so, we become closer. You can find Tea online as well as more than 400 stores including Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Takashimaya, and fine boutiques throughout the US and abroad.
I love the way the company gets their ideas and if you check out their Bali Arts & Crafts lines you may or may not see a skirt I am eyeing for my daughter. I have definitely found a new place to shop! The style for both boys and girls is adorable. Now for the fun part for my readers…
