I was so excited to have the chance to review The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice . Well of course being a huge fan of Noah Wyle, made it even more desirable aside from the plot having a little to do with vampires.
The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice, is the third in the The Librarian franchise of movies. It is the sequel to The Librarian: Quest for the Spear and The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mine.
Plot:
The story opens with the kidnapping of Professor Lazlo, a brilliant language and history expert at the University of Bucharest. Elderly and using a crutch to walk, he is taken hostage by a group that wants to force him to locate the Judas Chalice. They hope to use the cup – which was made from the 30 pieces of silver Judas received for betraying Jesus – to bring the notorious Prince Vlad Dracul back to life and foist evil on the world.
Meanwhile, Flynn heads to New Orleans for what he hopes will be a vacation. He has been summoned through mysterious dreams by Simone Renoir, a gorgeous New Orleans jazz club singer. She has made it her mission to keep the location of the Judas Chalice a secret so it won’t fall into the wrong hands. When the secret is accidentally revealed and the cup taken, Flynn and Simone must do everything in their power to prevent Vlad Dracul from casting the entire world into shadow. Helping from the sidelines are Judso, the enigmatic and always surprising head of the Library, and Charlene, the extremely serious-minded, no-nonsense personnel director.
My family thoroughly enjoyed The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice! It had enough action to keep the kids interested and my oldest son is anticipating December 7 so he can watch the first two that he has never seen. It is a wonderful movie that adults and children alike can enjoy. My son especially loved “touring the library” here.
LIBRARIAN : CURSE OF THE JUDAS CHALICE will premiere on TNT Sunday December 7th at 8(et/pt) . TNT will air the first two installments The Librarian: Quest for the Spear & The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines starting at 4pm(et/pt) leading up to the premiere of LIBRARIAN : CURSE OF THE JUDAS CHALICE. This a must see family movie one that your family will want to watch over and over!
