Quotable Sunday: Prayer

Hey Everyone! It’s Sunday so that means it’s a day of easy post if you are joining us in Quotable Sunday. If you are new and just seeing this for the first time please feel free to join in with us. Today my quotes are on prayer. Prayer is a big part of my life though I haven’t done it lately near as much as I Need to so that will be changing. It’s the one thing I know I can turn to when I feel lost, scared, not sure why something is happening in my life. Praying to God truly is my peace.

Oh there are so many times I have chosen unwisely but many more times that I would have come up with an answer to stay in a bad situation or relationship and God took me out of them. Thank goodness for that.

God has editing rights over our prayers. He will… edit them, correct them, bring them in line with His will and then hand them back to us to be resubmitted. ~Stephen Crotts
In the end if it is His will it will always be BEST for my life!

Thankfully I have learned just because I don’t receive what I am asking for when I ask for it doesn’t mean I never will but if I don’t it was better and God knew so!

This is obviously hard for a lot of people, people who like to control situations and people haven’t quite learned letting go.

In His presence is where I truly find peace, and then when I am in the midst of a storm I remember to get back in his prensence and He will hold me.
