We are a tech loving family, I fully admit to having an obsession with needing a new iPhone every.single.time one comes out. Luckily the need to upgrade each time hasn’t transferred over to my iPad….yet. One of the things that is very important for me is to keep my devices protected. I am lucky enough to have a husband who lets me use his upgrade if a new iPhone comes out and he gets whatever my current iPhone is at the time.
We really learned the importance of protection with the iPhone 4. I had barely had it for a few weeks and I dropped it. Luckily it didn’t do much damage, just a crack in the corner. When I upgraded to the 4s, my husband got it and had only had it a few weeks when he accidentally hit it, and it took a dive from the bathroom counter. It wasn’t so lucky that fall, the entire back smashed and he had to use tape to keep it together. Both of those instances sealed the fact we wanted something to protect our technology products.
I upgraded to the 5 and have a whole line of Pure Gear products for it. I love DualTek Extreme Shock line of cases. The hard shell protects my phone and I can get it in an array of colors. My husband is also using that line on his 4s. For riding in the car my kids can have a little fun with the retro game cases (the super colorful ones above). There are 3 different cases AKA games you can choose from:
- Amazing: Navigate the ball through the challenging maze from start to finish
- Groovy: Maneuver the balls until all are in the center at the same time in a game of wits
- Undecided: Hold vertically and shoot the ball for a magically answer to your question
The kids love that the case is a game!
As mentioned, I have had their iPhone cases for quite sometime, my husband is a more recent convert. However, I was new to their iPad cases and I received the Folio with Kickstand to use with my iPad 2. I love the bright blue color of the case. It’s a very sturdy case, so I feel confident it will protect it well. The kickstand makes movie watching a much better experience, because you aren’t having to hold the iPad up. My favorite feature is the power down feature, when I close the folio it automatically puts the iPad to sleep mode. The slimness of the folio makes it the perfect way to tote my iPad in my purse for on the go happenings because it doesn’t add bulk
There are quite a few other products I have my eye on that Pure Gear carries. I have nothing but good things to say about the products I have tried so far, so I expect my future products to hold the same standard. They offer so many other options so be sure to head over to the website and check them out.
What case do you use to protect your tech products?
