Growing up I had my fair share of toys and one (or maybe a few) of those toys was the Polly Pocket brand. The cute little miniature doll, her friends and her accessories that I could play for hours with. Today my daughter is getting that same brand but definitely a little more “todayish”.
In the mail she received the Polly Pocket Hangout House and one of the Stick N Play Room extras. I was throughly impressed with the updated version of Polly Pocket. The colors were bright, the dolls were fun and the little house pieces made decorating a blast. My daughter immediately tour into her package to put together a house that she can have one way one minute and reassemble for a different look the next. The ease of snapping the rooms into place makes this toy kid friendly.
One of the things that always frustrated me as a kid playing with any doll was the limited ability they had when it came to standing upright. If I wanted them to stand I had to hold them up. This updated version of Polly Pocket makes that battle almost go away. On the dolls, the pets, the furniture, the food, almost everything…there are little suctions. You simply stick Polly and her friends where you like and there they stand.
Same goes for decorations. My daughter loved that she could put the tv on one wall and then when Polly went to be she could move it to the room. It was as simple as un-suctioning it from one wall and suctioning it to the other. Thanks to this genius feature it makes it so essential to constantly decorate and redecorate to your hearts desire, which is something that comes in handy with my daughter.
Another thing I was able to not was that Polly was not as small as she was when I was growing up. We all know Polly Pocket for being small which I love, but the larger size makes it a little easier to play with Polly and her friends (at least in my opinion). The changes that have been made to Polly Pocket are definitely for the better. We are definitely having some fun with the dolls and their house…yes that means me too. I am that mom who plays right along with her daughter. And if you were wondering what the girl had to say about her newest toy addition…”I love Polly Pocket, her house is awesome, she has pretty colors. The doggie is so, so cute and her cookies always turn out perfect“
Yes, I’d say the girl loves Polly Pocket as much as I did when I was young! I love that she has an updated version of a brand I loved when I was a child, kind of makes me a little nostalgic. Did you or anyone you know play with Polly Pocket toys when you were little?
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Mattel Polly Pocket. I received a product samples and a promotional item as a thank-you for participating

What an awesome review!
Great review!
I never played with them, but I’m sure my daughter would love too!
I absolutely love how they used the suction cups so your stuff stays in place.
Aw, my daughter used to play with Polly Pockets too, they are so cute!
I think my daughter is just now growing out of Polly Pocket 🙁
My daughter would love to have this.
Polly Pockets are such a fun toy for girls!
I loved my Polly Pockets as a kid. They sure have grown a bit and come a long way for our girls now!
The little lady isn’t really into toys, unless it’s dora. LOL!
