When I was growing up I always loved when my favorite movie or TV show had toys to match, it was just like I was seeing the story come to life and even playing a part in the story myself. Thanks to the new line of Brave toys and products my daughter has had the same experience. One of the other highlights of my recent #BraveCarsLandEvent were the goodies I got to bring home. Check out what I had to figure out how to pack up in my already stuffed full suitcase….
To say my daughter was thrilled about them would be an understatement, when I returned home she dug right into them loving each thing. She even tried (successfully I might add) to take the one thing I was trying to keep for myself, one of the triplets as a bear. I snuggled with him the whole trip and lost him the minute I got home, it’s going to be “Battle of The Bear” over the next few months I presume. The first thing she really had a chance to use were the dolls. The toddler Merida doll is 16″ ($24.50 srp) and is just precious, with a look of determination and thought etched on her face. The other doll we received, that she has been playing with daily, is the Brave Merida Fashion Doll ($19.99, SRP) from Mattel. Not just your typical Barbie, Merida is ready to let your daughter bring the story to life, I know she did for my daughter.
As mentioned I took a liking to the cute Medium Hamish bear ($19.50, SRP). This bear with his “big”eyes is so soft and perfect for cuddling. After seeing the movie you will love this little guy even more. I want to add the other two of the triplets to my collection ASAP. A few other things this mom appreciated were The Art of Brave
and the BraveCD. I just fell in love with the art book showing the way charachters and more were created. The book is a perfect coffee table book that guests will want to look through when they are over. The music in “Brave” is nothing less than amazing. I love this style of music and this CD has already made it onto repeat a few times while I am working away.
My daughter isn’t as into video games as my boys, it truly has to be a special game for her to play. After seeing the movie, she jumped right into the Brave wii game ($49.99, SRP). Get ready to challenge destiny and try to change your fate on this adventure. Taking on tasks and trying to save the kingdom, let your little one take on Brave in a whole new way. Last, but definitely not least were the Brave Merida Costume ($49.50, SRP) and Merida Hairpiece ($19.50, SRP). I promised to take my daughter to the movie the Saturday after it opened and when we went she just had to be Merida…
The workers and even the manager at the theater LOVED the look and she proudly sported her new Merida outfit. We have set it aside now for Halloween, in fact we may change it up a little and get the Hero Merida look too. I remember playing dress up as a little girl and it’s so fun to watch my Bella have the same fun I did with such a wonderful and inspirational character. Featured are just a few of the fun things they have that go along with the movie. For more check out the complete Brave collection.
