My Thoughts on the #11moms and a letter to Wal-Mart

As many of you may (or may not) know I am a Pharmacy Technician for Wal-Mart. I absolutely love working for the company.
I have noticed lately Wal-Mart is delving into the world of blogging by having a team of mom bloggers as their Eleven Moms (which they actually have more because well there are so many rocking mom bloggers eleven just wasn’t enough).
What a great idea and as usual Wal-Mart set the standards that other companies seem to be following suit with. While I applaud them and the moms they have chosen, because they have done a wonderful job I do have a few more thought on this, so now we shall continue onto my letter.

Dear Wal-Mart:

Your Eleven Moms program is a wonderful program. As always Wal-Mart is one step ahead of the rest. I do have one question for you (which I think I know the answer to), Are any of the bloggers on your panel an actual employee of Wal-Mart? If I am not mistaken I do not think they are. This may have just been an oversight thinking that maybe none of your employees are moms that blog.

That is not the case and I am here to tell you that you really should have at least one employee that fits the mom blogger demographic you are going for on your Eleven Mom Panel. After all, who better to really represent Wal-Mart than someone who knows the company from the inside. Someone who is right here at the Home Office location, someone that can really stand up and say:

“Wal-Mart is not only good for consumers for the savings that they bring, but they are a company that treats their employees great as well. Encouraging them to live greener, healthier lives among the many other things.”

I, therefore would like to put out there adding myself to your Eleven Mom panel. Not only do I truly represent Wal-Mart being an employee. I also am right where it all happens, a little place I like to call Wal-Mart country (Northwest Arkansas). Living here where the home office is perfect for an Eleven Mom I would think!

As someone who knows the company from the inside not only can I stand up and be proud of the savings Wal-Mart brings to society but I can also stand up and say “The company is just as wonderful on the inside as well”.

So I am formally requesting that you consider adding an employee to your panel of Eleven Moms, someone that can represent the inside of the company as well as the outside. And while I am requesting things, you might consider me, as noted I am right here where it all goes down with Wal-Mart so really who better really?

And now I shall await your response because I have faith I will get one.

Sincerely,
Toni Patton

Okay so there is my letter to Wal-Mart, now what I want my lovely readers to do is to leave some comments telling them why you think I would be a great addition. That way when Wal-Mart checks out my post they see all the reasons why you think I should be on the Eleven Moms Panel as well.

Hi! I'm Toni. I am a happily married, christian, momma of 3 living on Florida's sunny Gulf Coast. I am a lifestyle blogger and Seint Arist. I started blogging when my last child was born as a way to share my love of all things travel, cooking, beauty, recipes, and more. Now pull up a chair, grab a glass of sweet tea and let's get to know each other. I truly hope you enjoy getting A Daily Dose of Toni!

Toni is one of my favorite bloggers. She is the reason I began doing what I do because of her inspiring me! She’s straight forward, honest, and rocks. I definitely think she belongs on the 11Mom Team. It would be so neat to see a Walmart employee on the team too.

I definitely think 12 is a good number for Walmart to have–and you would be a great addition to their Walmart Moms since you have a fatastic blog and I respect your opinions!

GOOOOO FOR IT!!! Totally true! Business forget about the wealth of information their TRAINED employees hold!!! Good Luck!

    Hey Toni,

My sister has been considering pharmacy school.

Would you answer a couple questions? (you don’t have to if you don’t feel they are appropriate)

    1. Was it has hard as you thought it would be? what with all the chemistry and whatnot?

    2. Was it as expensive as you thought it would be?

    thanks!

She would be a great addition to that group! Just read her blog!

I hope they add you! You would be a wonderful addition to the panel!

I had tried to get on the panel myself after it first started and was told (by someone on the panel) they weren’t going to be adding any more moms (and then they added a ton, so I guess that means they think I suck, lol)

    Good luck to you!

Creativity points alone should get you in!

It makes absolute sense to have a mommy on the blog that fits the whole demographic and not just part of it. Toni, being a mom AND a WalMart employee, would be an ideal addition to the panel.

I love your header! What a fun place. I snuck in the side door and just couldn’t resist leaving you a little comment love. Thanks for the dance around your place.

Toni is one of the first mom blogs I ever read (did you know that Toni?). It is because I Toni that I grew into my blog. Toni is one of those people you cannot dislike. She is vivacious, compassionate, forthright, and on of the sweetest people I have ever met. Toni is not afraid to take a chance, she believes in herself and I think Wal-Mart should as well.
