Monday Mingling w/ EightyMPHMom *Talking Sweet 16, Driving & Pageants*

Hey y’all I am joining in with Eighty MPH Mom today and mingling my little heart out. If you haven’t seen me do this before (it’s been eons since I last joined) you just head over to Jennifer’s place each Monday (or Sunday afternoon) see the questions for that week and join in by posting your own vlog then linking it up. Simple and fun two of my favorite things.

The questions for this week were:

  1. What did you do for your Sweet 16th birthday?
  2. What do you think of little girls dressing like adults for pageants?
  3. What was the car you learned to drive on?

Check out my answers in the video below:

*I would like to add on the pageant thing, just like with dance moms there are some skimpy outfits I absolutely would never allow my daughter in pageant or not, just sayin’. ย Oh and I remembered it was a Chevy Corsica I learned to drive on LOL>

What about you, feel free to share your answers in the comments below I would love to hear your thoughts.

    Toni!!!

I am so happy to see your lovely face. Can I just say you are glowing? Well you are! Oh, how I have missed you…

Don’t feel bad, I don’t remember my 16th birthday either. Not at all. I think the older we get, the more we forget ๐Ÿ™‚ so it’s all good.

I agree with you 100% on the pageants. I think so many of the moms are living their dreams through their child. It saddens me when they are pushing the girls that don’t really seem to be interested.

I hope all is well with you – and I hope you will come back and mingle again!

GIRL I needed a Dramamine for that video! HAHAHAHAA was the laptop on your lap? LOL You are so funny! GLAD you are back to video! I always love your videos! Still sad that Positvely Positive Fridays never caught on! hahahaa ๐Ÿ™‚

LOL yes because my son had the tv blaring so I had to sit with it on my lap. I know I plan on trying to do more of them. I really do miss videos. I still may do my very own Postively Positive, we have to highlight the good things. I may actually start using video for my Sunday posts (prayer requests and praise reports) it’s just so much more personal ๐Ÿ™‚

It seems to be a trend with all of us minglers, not remembering exactly what we did for our 16th.

LOL I hope it’s not a sign our memories are going but rather all our birthdays were super awesome so we can’t recall a particular one.

  4. 7

I prefer natural pageants too! Definitely not cool when the little girls where flappers over their teeth!

YAY…you are back…:) It is nice to see you….
I agree with u on the pagent thing…
I wouldnt do pagents for my daughters either…
But if they wanted to do that then…I would support that.

    ๐Ÿ™‚
    I love your mingle…
I guess I better go record my mingle.

Yay I am glad to be back and yes if the child wants to do it I will support them but I wont’ push her into something she doesn’t want to do like some of the parents do.

    Hello!
Agree with the toddlers… I just think a lot of them push too hard.
LOL, some kind of Chevy, that’s awesome.
Glad to see you again, have a great week!

Oh I agree, some of these parents in the pageant stuff definitely push too hard. That’s when I think it’s a problem
