Linwoods Superfoods, A Healthy Addition To You Favorite Foods

I love a good smoothie, one of my favorites is a Blueberry Banana Smoothie.  It tastes delish and it’s pretty to look at:

While it’s pretty healthy alone, I like to add “extras” to it so it can be even healthier.  That’s where Linwoods Superfoods comes in.

Linwoods Superfoods are perfect to add to smoothies, yogurt, oatmeals and whatever other healthy treat you can add “add-ins” too.  According to their labels there are no additives or preservatives, only containing the ingredients listed in the name of the product.  I received 4 different kinds of the Linwoods Superfoods to try: Shelled Organic Hemp, Ground Flaxseet & Goji Berries, Ground Organic Flaxseed, and Ground Flaxseed with Almonds, Brazil Nuts, Walnuts, and Q10.

I loved adding them to my smoothies in the morning and can rarely enjoy a smoothie without an add-in now.  I enjoy the texture it makes my smoothie and the fact that it is giving me good for you superfoods is a plus.  As 2014 starts, I have made a goal for myself to get in better shape and Linwoods Superfoods are going to play a big part in that.  They are GMO free, Gluten free, and safe for a vegan diet.  While I am not someone who eats gluten free or vegan I love that this is available for those who do.

I am actually going to be trying to add these into some desserts, my picky kids are too keen on trying things so this will be a great way to add a little superfood into their diets!

Linwoods Superfoods come in the following 6 varieties valued at a SRP of $8.99-$14.99 and are available through selected stores such as: Whole Foods Market; Bed, Bath and Beyond; Shaws; HyVee; Fresh Market; Bristol Farms; and other natural food retailers.

  • Ground Organic Flaxseed
  • Ground Flaxseed, Almonds, Brazil Nuts, Walnuts, & CoQ10
  • Ground Flax, Sunflower, Pumpkin, & Sesame Seeds & Goji Berries
  • Ground Flaxseed, Cocoa, Strawberries, & Blueberries
  • Ground Flaxseed & Goji Berries
  • Shelled Organic Hemp

So, if one of your goals is getting healthier this new year, be sure to see where Linwoods Superfoods fits into your life.  Do you ever use add-ins in your dishes??

I used to get a smoothie every day for lunch when I lived in the city. I’d always add something healthy like these, but never think about adding them at home. Thanks!

We use flaxseed a lot to add to things in our home. My husband adds it to his yogurt everyday, and I sprinkle it on peanut butter or Nutella.
