So my husband and I had a date night with our oldest son, on Sunday night. We took him to his favorite place to eat and then headed to Walmart. While driving we got on the subject of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I don’t even remember what sparked the conversation. So Gabriel was asking us questions and we were answering them. He was asking if God and Jesus were the same person, what was the holy spirit. It was such a sweet moment as a family to have.
Brent and I were answering the questions he had and then we were telling him that sometimes people refer to the holy spirt as the holy ghost. After a moment of pondering he asked his next question….
“Can a ghost even be holy?”
It made me giggle but I loved the innocence in the question. And of course since I blog you knew I was going to share it.

I’m glad you blogged about it. We (generic “we”) think we’ll remember all these great things and moments…and time fails us.
Now it’s written down and you can look back and re-live it in twenty years 🙂
Can a ghost even be holy… priceless question! It’s so wonderful when children ask those kinds of questions that lead to family discussions. Katharina angelsandmusic[at]gmail[dot]com
