One thing that I love most about Christmas is watching my kids open the presents they have been asking for all year long. Nothing like the excitement, expressions and joy that exudes out of them when they get that one item they have been longing over every time we go to the store. Even better than that is catching it on video so you can show them when they are 20 how they acted (especially when they bring a friend over LOL).
Causing extreme squeeling along with throwing yourself on the floor when opening a gift is what is called “The UnWrap Attack” What is an UnWrap Attack you ask, let Samantha Bee explain:

Ah! I’be been following everyone’s unwrap attack posts and dreaming of what to buy for my kids (or husband) to give them that SAME kind of sensation. Actually, my kids squeal w/ just about anything. Give them a dollar toy and they are yelling, “Thank You JESUS!” at the top of their lungs. Seriously. *Left Eyebrow Raised*
But my HUSBAND! It’s hard to get him excited, maybe because we spend more on the kids then we do eachother. My goal this year is to give him an unwrap attack w/ the Roku HD Player (we gave up our cable so this is going to be great) and a new LED Flatscreen TV. I saved a few gift cards and paypal payments and amazon cards… I MAY be able to do it. I’m squealing at the chance. If I can’t pull off the TV, I’m getting him the XBOX 360 w/ Kinect.

The best unwrap attack story was my 9 year old son gave his sister (7) a huge heavy box (heavy rocks) wrapped so pretty and she was so excited to see what was inside ….she teared at it threw the tissue paper out and sat on the ground crying ( we have it all on video) after she saw all the rocks…her Brother kibda freaked out because she was crying so hard and he said Please look in the box and at the bottom was a little wrapped box…=) he and his Grandma had bought her a birthstone ring ….then the excitment began…sooo Sweet!

When I was a young girl I wrapped a doll outfit for my favorite doll so she would have a gift to unwrap. Unbeknownst to me my mom unwrapped it carefully and put 2 new outfits in it, and re-wrapped it. She took a phot of my face when I opened it. It was definitely a unwrap attack moment.

Well I think I would if I got a proper engagement ring, mine was resized and they messed it up so I only got to wear it maybe a year and have been married 10 years now. I don’t have a true unwrap attack moment.
However, I will tell you about my niece’s unwrap attack moment. Several years ago, my Mom found a pair of long red flapback pajamas at a resale shop. She purchased them and hid them until Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve, after the kids went to bed, my Mom put the flapback jammies under the tree, draped over some of the presents.
When my niece and nephew got up on Christmas morning and started opening their gifts, they were astonished to see the jammies, and my niece exclaimed “Grandma, Santa dropped his drawers under our tree!”
It is now tradition for Santa to leave his jammies under the tree.
As for what would cause an unwrap attack for me? A new Bunn coffee brewer!
