Looks To Be A Yummy Weekend At Theaters!

Real Steel & Ides of March

Yesterday (10/7/11), Ides of March & Real Steel officially hit theaters nationwide. Both have the yumminess factor of hot eye candy…Hugh Jackman, Ryan Gosling & George Clooney. How is a girl to choose? The best part is hubby would willingly go along to watch both of these movies because they are what he would like.

Hugh Jackman is starring in the action packed “Real Steel“.

Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman) is a fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2,000 pound robots entered the arena and took over. Obviously he himself was no match…or so he thought. Living life a small time promoter doing what he can to make it from one venue to the next. He teams up with his son, reluctantly, to build what they think will be the next championship. In a different way than he thought could there be another championship in fighting?

My family and I saw the trailer for this at a movie we all went to see together and every single one of us decided this is one we wanted to see. It will definitely be a family night movie. Hugh Jackman is an added bonus for me of course. You can’t really go wrong with a movie starring that man and I’m not just saying that because I think he’s hot.

Also released yesterday was Ides of March, with an all star cast!ย I obviously am meant to see this movie according to Klout since I was influential in that very topic LOL. A political drama, it’s one that called to me from the moment I learned of it.

An adaptation of Beau Willimon’s play “Farragut North” it’s all about politics and the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. Stephen Myers (Ryan Gosling) is the campaign manager for Governor Mike Norris (George Clooney) With the major political battle going on the key to winning the Presidential nomination is weighing heavily on everyone’s mind. Opposing candidate’s campaign manager hits Stephen up with a job offer which he conveniently forgets to tell his boss (Phillip Seymour Hoffman). Right around the time that secret comes out to those he definitely wouldn’t want to know, Stephen, finds out something about Mike that could be the end of his career

Even though it’s political it sounds like one of those that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Again another movie I think hubby will enjoy alongside of me. ย  Though I now debate if I have to see them both on the same night or go different nights, can I have that much self control?! ย I love when good movies come out, makes for a great date night.

The questions of the day are:
Do you have plans to see either of those movies?
OR
Have you already and what did you think of them?

If you want to check out the trailers see them over there ————————————————————–>

Your wrong, it’s not Ryan Reynolds, it is Ryan Gosling. He is so fine. He gets asked if he’s Ryan and then fans are upset he is not Ryan Reynolds. Not big deal just thought I would tell you.

Yeah that’s what I had in the second part of the post, the part about Ides of March. Why I typed Reynolds in the introduction I have no idea. Thanks so much for letting me know though so I could correct that sentence ๐Ÿ™‚ I appreciate it, I hate when I make mistakes like that.

I took my boys to see Real Steel last night, I really loved it! It had language in it, but otherwise it was pretty clean. Hugh Jackman doesn’t hurt the eyes either ๐Ÿ™‚

I know my boys are so ready to go see it. You can hardly find a movie without language now a days which is sad. And yes Hugh is easy on the eyes ๐Ÿ™‚

I love Hugh Jackman and well, I love George Clooney ๐Ÿ˜›

This is a battle that’s okay to have! I LOVE Ryan Gosling! I’m seeing the Ides this weekend! I wasn’t that into Hugh Jackman until I saw him on Rachael Ray (did anyone else see that interview?) — and HE IS SO ADORABLE! Hearing him talk about his kids and how he proposed to his wife – OMGOODNESS! And he’s on Broadway too! A renaissance man that is easy to look at! ๐Ÿ™‚
