Hotel Sweet Home: Residence Inn

Residence INNWhen my family travels we like to stay in places that are comfy, homy, give great deals, and so much more.  This year for our trips we are looking at Residence Inn.  With new renovations Residence Inn is beating out the competition for places families will look at to stay while traveling this summer.  As for my family we need space, comfort and cost that doesn’t break the bank.  This is where Residence Inn comes in.

Residence Inn has more than 600 locations in the US and Canada making finding a place to stay in a city I want to visit much easier.   Not only is Residence Inn making it easier to find with many locations but the rooms they have are larger than traditional hotel rooms which is a big thing for my family of 5.  Also the longer you stay the more your rate goes down per night, think of it as being rewarded for choosing Residence Inn.  Space and Discounted rates for longer stays, can it get any better?  Well yes I think it can.

In addition to the rates and space Residence Inn also offers a gym for those who want to keep up with their workout while on vacation (or business).  A pool to keep the kids entertained, after all really what is a vacation without swimming.  For those of us like me, whose work goes with them they offer free internet access so that we can stay connected when we need to.   Also each suite has a microwave, stove or cooktop, dishwasher,  and a dining table with stools. A complimentary hot breakfast is like icing on the already yummy cake.  It truly is like a home away from home.

Staying with family is the way we usually go when going on vacation but this year if there is one close we will be looking into Residence Inn for sure.  It’s really a no brainer, be nice and comfy in a spacious hotel, or squish in with family?  Which do you think makes more sense?

When traveling this summer or anytime for that matter keep Residence Inn in mind for your place of stay.  Or if you can’t get away take a staycation with your local Residence Inn.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Residence Inn by Marriott and received a chance to win a weekend stay at a Residence Inn to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central also sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.  Opinions as always are my own

We love Residence Inn! My husband travels a lot and stays only at Marriott hotels because they are so cozy! Great staff at each and every location we have been to from California to DC to NY! We actually already plan to stay at a Residence Inn while we transition to a new home next year! It’s just so much like a real home there….with maid service and dinner! 🙂
