One of the great things about Mother’s Day is the gift of giving back to your mom or the mom in your life. I know it’s such a special day for me because I love honoring my mother on her special day and my kids make me feel special. This mother’s day Nestle Family is taking the giving back a step further. Right now on their facebook page they have a promotion going on where you can honor your mom.
Share a photo a story honoring your mom on their Give A Gift of Hope page and for every photo shared they will donate $1.00 up to $50,000 to Mercy Housing. Here is a little more about who Mercy Housing is and what they do:

We believe that affordable housing and supportive programs improve the economic status of residents, transform neighborhoods and stabilize lives.
Their mission is o create stable, vibrant and healthy communities by developing, financing and operating affordable, program-enriched housing for families, seniors and people with special needs who lack the economic resources to access quality, safe housing opportunities.
I love that Nestle Family is doing something to give back. I also have the chance to give back as well as provide my mom with a chance to give back thanks to Nestle for providing a gift card for both myself and my mom to donate to the charity of our choice on JustGive.org.
Just Give is a site where you can go and set up a one time or recurring donation to any charity they have available. You can also purchase a gift card in someone’s name and allow them to give back. With everything from animal charity’s to Susan g. Komen and PTO/PTA groups to church charities you are sure to find one you would like to donate to. You can also search by zip code to find the local charities to give to which is what I am doing.
This also makes a great gift for holidays for those who love to give back so think about getting a Just Give gift card this mother’s day.
