With them using Go Math! workbooks in school, the lesson on Go Math! Academy are great for helping them work through problems! But I am getting ahead of myself, we will come back to that. After signing up, you can watch the video tutorial (screenshot below) and then get to solving problems

Once they are logged in, the first time, they get to choose the journey they want to take..

We chose the Sky Journey. As my daughter ventured in, she started from the first lesson. What I love about Go Math! Academy, is the fact that it encourages kids as they go. Check out the problem and the reply when my daughter hit “Check Answer”

Even when they miss something, Go Math! Academy makes sure to tell them what they missed and lets them correct it. That is a great way to help them for when they are working in their workbooks or at school. Because too often, it’s marked wrong and not always explained, with Go Math! Academy it gives you the areas you got wrong and tells you an explanation so you can go back and check out your answer. Once you look it over you correct it and check answer again! If you get it right, you move on, if you don’t simply read what you missed and the info to try again.

At the end of each session it lets you know how much you got correct and you move on to the next journey.  My kids have really loved it, I haven’t seen them this excited about math in quite some time!

It’s great to see a brand making math fun. Kids (and adults) learn so much better when its associated with fun, happy things.

  3. 3

Looks like a great and fun program to help kids with math. I could of used something like this when my son was in school.

  4. 4

I like how multiple kids can use it. That parent dashboard is fantastic too, and so helpful to see where kids need to focus extra efforts.

  5. 5

My Isabella needs more help in math so I may need to get this for her. I like that you can choose which plan you want to use, just don’t like leaving my CC.

  6. 6

I love websites that make learning fun. Especially for my son who isn’t a big fan of school.

  7. 7

I love Go Math Academy. It’s a great way to make one of the most difficult subjects fun!

  8. 8

Math needs to be really understood, this looks like a way to help kids get there. It is also nice to see that Mom and Dad can take a look at progress and decide if a little more help is needed.

  9. 9

This would have been great when my daughter was young. She struggled with math and she thought it was boring.

  10. 10

I like that it lets you go back and correct it. Even at my age, I don’t like to just know I missed something, I want to see what I missed and figure out how to get it right before I move on.

  11. 11

Geez, I could use this now. I have rotten, rotten math skills and I need all the help I can get!

  12. 12

Great way to learn. Sounds like a good program.

  13. 13

My son loves math – but his mom here can’t keep up with him. This might be a great way to keep his interest in math going strong – and challenge him!

  14. 14

Very cool learning tool. I’m all for supplementing my child’s learning any way I can.

  17. 17

My son loves math, its the one subject he excels at so he loves games like these. This would be great during school breaks to keep him from regressing.

  18. 18

As someone who grew up hating math, this is an amazing product! Making math fun will make a difference in helping the child get through the learning process.

  19. 19

I’ve been hearing lots about this online learning program! My son would get so much out of this!

  20. 20

I need to look into this program. I thin it would be graeat during summer.

  21. 21

  24. 24

Thanks Toni! I was just on another blog that shared this, and I plan to use it for my kids. I think they will love it. They are pretty good at math, but they need to brush up on some things.

  25. 25

This looks like a fun learning program. So far my 1st grader is doing well in math, but if he slips any I like that this option is available to help him.
