I had this fun comment in my Elliott Lucca Giveaway today:
“Wow, are you gonna make everything jump through a hoop of fire and walk over hot coals too? This is way too complicated. Remember KISS~ Keep It Simple Stupid”
Really it did nothing but make me giggle, why you ask? Well you say to keep it simple and that the entry was too complicated right. The entry was to simply leave your email, or did your high intelligence miss that part. The hypocrisy of it all got me tickled. You have enough time to comment and it is no less complicated than the means of entry.
I am baffled at how typing out your email is too complicated and yet you had time to type out that long comment! Amazing really. Then I thought Oh No, I didn’t put the entry simple enough for those like yourselves, maybe the entry should have been not so drawn out. So for you Lazy Entrant, let me be simple very simple so that even my 3 year old child could understand….To Enter to win the handbag, please leave your email in a comment and by doing that you will receive emails from the company.
Now was that much less complicated for you! Maybe for my next contest I will think just of you and let it be just press a letter any letter and you are entered. I am going with you are one of the few people out to try to upset or hurt others but the funny thing is after my night at work last night you have done nothing but bring a smile to my face. So I thank you for starting my day off in a fun way!
Oh and a little note…I have a feeling you are talking about the extra entries in which case you obviously missed the sentence above them that said “These are extra ways to enter” oh well, your loss someone else’s gain. May you have a very blessed day 🙂

I think it’s sad how people have nothing better to do than mess with someone else…it only shows how completely ridiculous and so obviously childish they really are!
People just love to complain…too bad they couldn’t have just put their effort into trying to win the giveaway instead.

I have two comments on people like this. First, if you don’t like it…then DON’T READ THE BLOG. It’s that simple. Move along! I had another blog last fall. It was very tongue and cheek about motherhood–just funny commentary. Some woman stumbled upon it and hated it so much, she tried researching who I was and wanted to try to get me fired from my job!!! And honestly, it wasn’t offensive. My second amusement is how someone can complain about something that is FREE!!! Plus, it’s not like you have way different entry requirements than anyone else. People can be so lame.

That is not the first time I have seen those type of comments. Actually I think I have seen the exact comment on other giveaways.I don’t understand it. You don’t want to take the time to do what’s required to enter but you’ll waste your time leaving that comment. Just move on!

There is a never-ending stream of people who don’t seem to grasp the concept of giveaway entries. I have so many people not leave emails, do all of the bonus entries but not the required entry, etc. Don’t these people wonder why they don’t win????
