We all have a song, a quote, or something when we need to just be inspired that we turn on, or maybe you have a daily something you read or listen too. I have all sorts of songs, some for cleaning, some songs when I turn on I know will make me smile. Then I have a special category on my iPhone that is all the songs I know will push me through, lift my spirit, or just encourage me to the next level when nothing is wrong.
Savior Please by Josh Wilson is more often than not the one I turn right on. Whether it be I am saddened by news I received or am going through a tough time this song, no matter what, this song lifts my spirit and reminds me that it’s okay to not have to be “tough” all the time or just encourages me in a small way. It’s okay to just want to cry out to God to hold you and get you through whatever you may be going through.

Also there are some absolutely wonderfully inspiring blogs such as, Take Root and Write, that every day has a wonderful message. As if on cue this past week there was the Jump Ship post that basically seemed to fit my life at one moment and it just made me smile.
Just reading something that is timed just right or turning on that song can always seem to get your mind on track again. Look not to the circumstances and situations around you but look to God, for He is what will pull you through anything (or so I believe). And even when life is wonderful look to him and just see how much better still it can be and thank him for the good things.

Off I go to pack for my trip to see my family in Florida. I can’t wait to give my mom a hug and take her out to a “cancer free bill of health” lunch, dinner or movie. Another thing when I want to be inspired, I just look to my mom and say…if she can get through all she did, this minute situation is nothing for me! An amazing woman she is.
