Tomorrow, 9/21/2014, is World Gratitude Day. To celebrate this day, I wanted to share with you some of the people and things I am so very grateful for. Before I continue, I want to say, we should make every day “Gratitude Day” because in every single day there is something to be thankful for. Now, who are some of the people and what are some of the things I am thankful for???
My family! Not just the ones picture here (hubby and kids) but all of them. Without my family, I would not be the person I am today. They make me laugh, cry, take risks, and really live life to the fullest. Every day I am learning something new about them or even through them about myself. Whether I am just enjoying a quiet moment with my hubby, a coffee with my mom, or cheering my kids on at their sports games, every moment with my family is one that makes me so grateful God chose them for me!
I am so thankful for my friends. From my bestie who I’ve known since 1st grade to the new friends I met in the last weeks. Each person that has been brought into my life, has taught me a lesson. Sure some friendships haven’t weathered the test of time, but every friendship I have had or currently have, I value.
I am most definitely grateful for a good nights rest, thanks to our Nature’s Sleep mattress! Before Nature’s Sleep I, literally, tossed and turned and moved around all night. While I still have issues with waking up very early, the time I am in my bed is so comfortable. Our mattress is so soft and forms perfectly to my body. After a long day of coaching cheer, all I want to do is lay down and that’s just what I do. Relaxing in my Nature’s Sleep bed, is the perfect way to end a day, thinking about all the people and things I am thankful for!
Seems I am not the only one thankful for a good night’s sleep. Check out what other Nature’s Sleep customers had to say about their mattresses!
Yes, I am grateful for imperfections. Life isn’t perfect and it’s the little imperfections in myself and others that I am thankful for! Seeing someone without a “mask” and everything not in place is so refreshing to me. As I have gotten older I have learned to embrace my imperfections and use them to inspire myself and others.
Last, I am so thankful for books. I love to escape, thanks to the millions of books out there, at least an hour each day I get to escape from the crazy world around me, into whatever world I happen to be reading about. Books are such a big part of my life. I have always loved to read and I love seeing that love in my daughter!!
