I am so excited to be the host of this stop on the blogging carnival, all of the posts listed below I enjoyed reading and I hope you will too. Also if you didn’t stop by the last carnival you seriously need to head over there (after reading these wonderful posts first of course) and check out the posts, I was seriously crying I was laughing so hard when reading some of them. So go here, to see the first stop on this carnival. Now without further ado, the stops on this weeks carnival:
A Modern Mother: The Baby Blanket, Flashbacks from the NICU ~ Go with this mom on her touching journey to the NICU, this post is absolutely heart grabbing. I just wanted to reach out and hold her hand and walk with her being a strength for her. She writes in a way that you feel as if you are right there with her.
A Daily Dose of Toni: Promote Blog Peace ~ I had to throw my fun little post in here of course LOL. I think peace is a great thing to promote so why not promote peace in blog land, whether or not you have experienced any “unpeacefulness” what does it hurt to go ahead and promote blog peace right LOL.
The Cool Mom Guide: How I Lost 60 Pounds ~ What an inspiration this article is to those that are trying to find a way to shed the pounds ( I know I will be after all the holidays) and I am totally envious that she owns the Wii Fit!
Robyn’s Online World: The Love and Hate of Gift Cards ~ Okay this post seriously cracked me up, I think this blogger just posted pretty much everyone in existence feelings on gift cards, they are after all a love/hate relationship with us!
Thoughts From the Mrs.: Reflection ~ What a wonderful post about this years presidential election, if more people (on both sides) would take this view our world would be a much more peaceful place and parties could get along despite differing views!
Good Golly Miss Blondie: A Not So Secret Santa ~ Oh the poor poor mother! This is something I am so deathly afraid of. In fact if it were me I think I would have returned all the presents and gotten different ones, I am a little obsessive in that way! Thankfully the bullet was dodged by a fraction of a hair!
My 2 Boyz: Time for Flu Shots ~ This scenario seems vaguely familiar. Oh that’s right I had to do it with my middle son when it was time for shots I didn’t realize he missed. I can totally sympathize with this mommy. I did however love the comeback her boy yelled out when the shot was being given, priceless!
The Life of me Plus Three: Do You Know Me ~ This blogger lets us in, and shows us who she really is, she puts it all out there so that as her readers we can know her. So we can know what she has been through and what she loves. It is a very touching post and I personally think more people should post a post like it.
3 Peas In A Pod: Trust Me It’s YOUR Body ~ Alyson shares with us her touching story of a very personal part of her life. Take a cue from her and remember that it is your body you and only you will know what is right for you! I applaud Alyson for taking the steps she had to and for educating herself before jumping into something that was life changing.
Suburb Sanity: Let’s See How Many We Can Cram In Here ~ Debbie asks the questions I am constantly wondering the answers to as well. I mean really when you have more than one bathroom is it really necessary for everyone in the family to go in the one you just went into?? Well Debbie if you ever figure out how to stop this please post because I am sure many others wonder the same thing.
I Hate My Message Board: I Am Learning The Social Web Media Networking 2.0 ~ This is a great post to help new and even seasoned bloggers learn the how to’s of networking. Networking is what will help you get other to your blog and site and this post has some great tips.
Nothing But Purple: Wow I’m Speechless ~ Jessica tells us her feelings on this year of the presidential election. It think she encompasses a lot of people’s feelings about how wonderful it is that our world and our children got to experience a moment in history.
Two Under Two: Purging the Mommy Guilt ~ What a post! This mommy posted about all the things she will not feel guilty about that she has or has not done in her career as a mother. I think we should all take a cue and post a similar post 🙂
Project Happily Ever After: The Cheapest Most Effective Ways to Romance a Woman ~ Wow is all I can say, she gives some absolutely great tips to inexpensive romancing, number 7 is my favorite well actually I love them all. Go copy the list and then live it inconpicously in a place where your hubby can see it.
Mom Maven: Gift Cards…Generous Gifts or Pathetic Presents ~ Ahh another gift card post, that I love. Tis the season for gifting gift cards right??!! This post actually makes some great points of things to keep in mind as well as has a list of store closings that you may want to avoid gift carding from if you are gift carding this year.
Minxy Mimi Unplugged: Forgive and Forget ~ This was one of Mama Kat’s writing workshops and Mimi gives her take on forgiving and forgetting. Mimi makes some wonderful points in her post!
Nothing Like It: North Pole Sports ~ Okay this is the cutest cartoon! It made me laugh, makes you wonder what do Santa and his crew do during down time!
For the Love of Baby: Kelsie Goofing Off ~ As mommies we are proud of all the things our little ones do. Watch Jenna’s adorable daughter have a blast while possibly hurting daddy (that makes it more fun to watch right)
The Greer 5: Brodie Lynn ~ Oh how absolutely sweet. Brittany’s letter to her daughter made me tear up. It is such a touching post you better get out the kleenex.
Coupon Cravings: 5 Ways to Get Free Gifts for Everyone on Your List ~ What a perfect post for the holidays! This blogger tells some tips on how to make your shopping experience better and your money go a little further!
The Cocktail CAfe: Can A Mom Have A Break? Some Days I Just Want to Run Away ~ Yep I totally get this mom, I too have had those moments where God is getting an earful. I was so glad to read this and realize I am not the only one and perhaps I am normal!
Peace with Cake: How Not to Eat Emotionally, 10 Things to do With a Feeling when You really don’t know what to do with it ~ What an absolutely wonderful post. I don’t know about many of you but I am an emotional eater, I eat when i am upset or bored and this post really helps me to see what I should do instead.
Single Mom Meltdown: A Virtual Baby Shower ~ Claire is hosting a virtual baby shower to help a family in need. What better way to bring in the holiday season than helping those who don’t have as much as others or could use a helping hand!
Designs By Deann: Funny Life Lessons ~ Trips to the vet with a huge dog and a child in tow always makes for a great blog post! I must admit I am glad I was not Deann that day! 🙂
The Life of A Mom: Charlie Bit My Finger ~ This is too cute. I too like this blogger had never heard of this video but it brought an instant smile to my face!
Lady M: Great Gifts for Men ~ This isn’t really a blog post per say but I thought it was a great listing because we all need the help we can get during the holidays when shopping for the men in our life (or maybe it’s just me).
Two Fer The Price of One: I am thankful for ~ I love this post, especially the Thanksgiving meal this blogger is thankful for. That is my kind of cooking.
And yes I know that is 27 but I couldn’t not post them all they were all amazing, so I bent the rules a little. Also to see the schedule for the carnival and what blogs to submit your posts to if you want to join in the travels, head over to the Carnival Schedule. Happy reading.
