I love the beach, I love to get a nice tan, I love to get a new swimsuit every year. Growing up in Florida it doesn’t matter if I have enough bathing suits to last me a full month, I have to get at least one new suit or it doesn’t feel summer to me. This year added to my collection is a swimsuit from Aerin Rose. I was thrilled when they reached out to me just as I was getting ready to carouse for a new bathing suit. I headed over to see which suit I wanted to have as the new addition to my swimsuit drawer and was immediately draw to both the Parrot Fish look and the Kaleidoscope look. With such pretty colors and designs how was a girl to choose? Choose I did and decided the bright and multi colors of the Parrot Fish look were just what I needed for this summer.
Once I headed over to Parrot Fish page I realized my decision choices were far from over thanks to the different choices in both tops and bottoms. There are so many possibilities! Do I want the halter top with the skirted bottom, the tankini top with the hipster bottoms, or something else? After counting out the tankinis (I like a tan tummy) I finally decided on the convertible underwire bandeau top and the tonga shirred tab hipster bottoms. I could not wait to get them in my hands. A few days later they arrived and they were so colorful I was thrilled to think about how the colors would compliment my tan skin (well when being Italian kicks in during summer). Check out the fun design and colors:
I love the way they fit and being bra sized swimwear you can get gauge it pretty easily, not like the normal limited sizes in stores. The top was pretty true to size as were the bottoms. I love the parrot fish design and colors. They just scream summer to me and I will be happily sporting this on beach and waterpark days through the summer. One thing I really loved about the bottoms were they were not tie bottoms. That is just what this momma needs when heading down the slides and hitting the waves at the waterpark this summer.
As mentioned it is bra sized swimwear so finding your size is fairly easy. I picked the bandeau top because it really was more like two tops in one. It has the latch on the back like most tops but it also has a tie that you can tie over the latch area to make it the bandeau, as seen above. You can also take the “tie” part and turn it into a halter style as seen here:
I loved that I essentially got two bathing suit looks in one, Score!! Aerin Rose has so many other designs to choose from and being able to mix and match make the possibilities almost endless. So if you are looking for that new swimsuit this summer head over to Aerin Rose and check out their collection. I have to say it is a great addition to my beach and waterpark wardrobe. I have a feeling it will be my go to bathing suit of this summer. Don’t forget to keep up with Aerin Rose on both their facebook and twitter!
