It’s not often we get to enjoy a Girls Night In, but that’s exactly what we had the chance to do this past Friday. I gathered my daughter, my sisters, my mom, and a few of their friends for a fun girls night in with Sally Hansen nail products.
I headed to my local Walgreens, with my rewards card in hand of course, to stock up on supplies for the girls night in. Not only did we need supplies to have the perfect girls night in, but also some treats to eat and the perfect GNI movie…Breaking Dawn Pt.2
With such a large selection I had a hard time picking the colors I wanted to bring home for our GNI and almost bought EVERY color. I somehow managed to refrain and stuck to some fun colors. Seriously, though, tell me you would not be in girls night heaven with all of this:
I instantly fell in love with the bright and sparkly (a certain vampire sparkles, it’s perfect you see) colors on the Color Blocking display. After loading up my goodies I headed home to surprise the girls. You see not a one knew we were going to be doing this, they just figured they were coming over for a run of the mill dinner. Little did they know this night would include some nail art fun, tasty treats and their gossip magazines (featuring One Direction of course)!
After a few squeals and poster claiming:
It was time to get started with the nail painting fun. Everyone had such different tastes it was neat to see who went with what color and how they painted their nails.
They came up with such pretty designs. These girls are much more talented than I was at their age. Using the X-Treme Salon Affect colors, nail art pens, and some other supplies, the possibilities were endless. Check out the designs/style they ended up with:
Even yours truly had a little fun with her nails! Since I am getting ready to attend the red carpet premiere of Iron Man 3 in LA, I thought it fitting to do some Iron Man colored nails:
With the food, the movie, One Direction photos, and all the nail supplies, it was a perfect girls night in. My daughter is already begging for another one, but this mom definitely needs a little rest. See my full shop here.
If you want to have a fun girls night in head to Walgreens and check out the huge selection Sally Hansen has to offer. Be sure to check out the deal they have on their Extreme & Salon effects, at 2/$5 with 1000 rewards points you can stock up (good 3/31-4/27). Don’t forget to keep up with Sally Hansen and Walgreens on twitter for the latest news.

Your nails turned out so great! I need to pick up a nail pen and try that.
Yes that was a life saver!!
Looks like everyone had a great time, what a great girls night event.
Your nails look awesome! What did you end up using the tape for or was that not part of the nail project? It looks like there’s no excuse for my nails staying unpainted since Sally Hansen has all the tools to get my nails looking stylish.
One of my sisters used the tape but I found the nail art pens worked perfect, no tape needed 🙂 Now if you want to use a polish color instead of the nail art pens then you would definitely want tape for cleaner lines 🙂
Cute, and it looks so easy to do!
Those nails are crazy cute! I love it.
Looks like a blast!
Your nails look great. My daughter LOVES to paint her nails almost daily.
