Mega Bloks has a new toy just in time for Christmas. It won’t be hitting hit stores until December 12th but we had the chance to get a sneak peak of the Mega Bloks Build N’ Style Luxury Mansion. Let me say this is one toy that will let your little one use their imagination and building skills.
I brought out the box to assemble the Mega Bloks Barbie Build ‘n Style Luxury Mansion and dumped out everything that was included. I will admit to not being very happy when I saw their were over 300 pieces…I am not usually the assembler when it comes to toys…that’s the hubby’s department. However, he was at work so this was moms job this time. The pieces did overwhelm me, I mean seriously who would not be rethinking something when you see all these pieces…
They weren’t all big pieces but rather a ton of little tiny pieces. To say I was intimidated was an understatement. Thankfully, Mega Bloks had people like me in mind when they made the instructions. They made sure to tell you how many each piece should have and the step by step instructions made it easy enough for this mom to put together. Not in record time, mind you, but I did get it together and was pretty proud at the final result. The instructions tell you how to put together each individual room and then moves on to the house part. Here was the start of the building adventure:
Needless to say my daughter is going to be thrilled when she gets her hands on this Christmas morning. I had a blast playing with it and putting it together myself (I fully admit to acting like a child occasionally) so I have no doubt in my mind the same will be said for her. She loves to build and she loves Barbie so this is the perfect combination for my girl.
