There are few things in life that can be said it was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and while voicing a character has happened before, I can pretty much guarantee that voicing Baymax will not happen again. Therefore, it was precisely a once in a lifetime opportunity. It’s always so much fun to get to put my voice to a Disney character, I loved when I had the chance to voice Dipper and having my heart strings tugged by the loveable Baymax, I was thrilled to find out I was going to get to voice the character during this trip!
It’s always so amazing to me, to know that there are actual people doing the voices, even that of a robot. While in the studio, it was quite odd, yet cool, to hear myself through the headphones with a bit of a robotic taint to my voice. For this recording, it was a bit different than my last experience. This time I had the scene playing out right in front of me, I listened for the beeps and once they fourth beep went, I started saying the lines as the scene continued to play!
Want to know how I did? Check out the video of me in the studio, followed by the animated clip with my voice as Baymax:
So, how did I do? Seriously, so much fun! How would you like to voice a Disney character??
