I am a coastal southern girl. I have grown up in the south and on the coast for 23 of my 32 years. To say I love the area and the surrounding areas would be an understatement. I love to share all things southern and coastal life with my readers so they remember to consider our area when planning their travels.
While I don’t live there myself, one of the places I love to go visit, is the Mississippi Gulf Coast. With miles of beaches, casinos, and restaurants galore it’s a place my family can find almost anything to do for any age. With so many gulf coast events to choose from, it’s rare that I will get antsy to come home. Even better my kids have fun things to do when we visit there with area water parks, fun centers, and boating tours. Mississippi’s Gulf Coast is fun for adults and kids alike.
For the men in our group there are so many different fishing excursions they can enjoy. Us women can shop our little hearts out at surrounding outlets or can relax with a day at the spa. We love to be outdoors, so the beaches are always an obvious answer to have something the whole family can enjoy together. Take time to play with the dolphins, enjoy some good southern food, or even attend a rodeo. My husband would love to head into one of their fishing rodeos.
I love that we live so close to one of the areas greatest family vacation resorts. When we get the urge we just have to hop in our car and head on over for a day, weekend, or week of fun. With so many things to do this is definitely one of our favorite places to visit as a family. Have you ever been to the Mississippi Gulf Coast?

Sounds great! We’ve visited the Alabama and Florida coasts plenty, but never Mississippi.
