My February binging with Netflix. Netflix offered me a lot of laughs through the month of February! I had a blast binge watching some old favorites and fell in love with some shows that were often talked about, but I had yet to watch. First up that was on my binge watching list was the newly released (in February)…ENTIRE SERIES…of Friends.
We get to watch Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, and Joey as they deal with life, love, and smelly cats. Friends is one of my all time favorite TV series. I was so sad when it went off the series ended. So imagine my excitement when it was announced Netflix would have every season available to stream. No more waiting a week to watch an episode…it’s like instant gratification with a cherry on top!
As I said, February has been a month of binge watching shows, blame the unnaturally cold weather we are having in Florida. Before I started Friends, I decided to check out a show that has been popular the last few years…GLEE.
While Glee wasn’t new in February it was a show I wanted to get acquainted with. I had started to watch it a while ago but stopped in the middle of the first episode. Not for lack of liking the show, but being busy kept me from really being able to get into it. At the beginning of the month, I sat down with laptop in hand (to work while I watched of course) and started the series. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I laughed watching the four seasons that are available on Netflix. Of course it pulled at my heartstrings just as much as it made me laugh, while comedic, Glee teaches some very important lessons. I can’t wait until season 5 hits Netflix next month.
Next month I’ll share with you all about the fun we had while watching Ever After High, but it’s a series that the whole family can enjoy. Though my boys much preferred to be doing something else, so it was usually a mommy and daughter time. She and I had a girls night in with some fun props…so be sure to watch for my post all about that in March. There are so many series for adults and kids on Netflix, that you, yourself, will soon be binge watching a series. I think next on my series list is The Walking Dead!
