I love to travel, my kids love to go to their friends house, my husband has to travel for work, we love theme parks…yes there is a theme of travel love in our family. Sometimes our travels take us places together, sometimes they are solo trip, and sometimes a family trip ends up at a theme park where the teens want to go do their ride thing while us adults hang with the tiny humans. Because of those times we aren’t all together I want to make sure I, my husband, or my kids have a way to get help if they should need it. Cue React Mobile.
React Mobile is an app that will allow you to alert authorities should you be in a situation where you could need help. It basically turns your iPhone or Android phone into a security device. I don’t know about you, but when I travel alone, I definitely take extra precautions to make sure I am safe. Now with React Mobile it’s even easier. In an emergency situation, with the simple push of a button, you can alert emergency contact that something isn’t right and your whereabouts…you can even post right to twitter and facebook. After your SOS you are then prompted to dial 911. You can even customize to the country you are in, which is perfect for international travel.
The app has a “Follow Me” feature, that let’s your self selected contacts track your whereabouts in real-time whenever you’re concerned for your safety. Perfect for running or walking alone early in the morning or late at night, keeping track of kids, or meeting a client for the first time, simply touch the “I’m Safe” button to let your contacts know when you’ve arrived at your destination safely.
Check out this overview video of React Videa and a video how it works:

Peace of mind is something I definitely want when I, or anyone I care about, travel. Thanks to the React Mobile app I can have peace of mind not only for myself but my husband, my kids, as well as other family and friends.
Be sure to keep up with React Mobile on their website. Available for Apple Devices here and the Google Play (for select smartphones) store here.

What great features! It’s a shame that people need this, but it’s a reality. I’m glad to know that this might help keep people (even me) safe.
