TNT’s New Season Starts Tonight! Get Your Watch On!

Thank goodness for TNT. Others seem to be wrapping up their seasons and gearing up for the fall but TNT has saved my dvr from being bare until the new shows start. TNT has 5 shows starting up (2 tonight and 2 June 16). I had the opportunity to watch all 5 of the new shows before they aired and they definitely did not disappoint. Here are the list of shows TNT has lined up to keep us occupied and entertained.

The Closer

The Closer returns tonight for it’s 5th Season. The series which as earned 3 Screen Actors Guild awards is sure to keep your attention and leave you wanting more. Just as Brenda (Kyra Sedwick) adjusts to married life with Fritz Howard (Jon Tenney) she loses someone she cares for very much. Two people on the team finally resolve a conflict while another falls in love. Because of the economy one of the team members will have to take a second job and another has some career complications of a different kind. Through it all Brenda and her team are hard working on solving the cases before them and closing one case after another.

Raising the Bar

Raising the Bar returns for it’s second season tonight at 10 p.m. (est) Jerry Kellerman(Mark Paul Gosselaar) returns as the public defender who does everything he can to ensure a verdict of not guilty or a decent plea deal for his client. This season’s cases range from hate crimes to child pornography. The difficulties they have in Judge Kessler’s (Jane Kaczmarek), who dreams of becoming the next district attorney, court along with the rules of Judge Albert Farnsworth (John Michael Higgins) are sure to make it interesting. With Roz (Gloria Reuben) missing the hands on aspect of public defending and Balco (Currie Graham) determined to reach new political levels, they’ll both find themselves in the courtroom more alongside their talented friends. Raising The Bar will not only keep your interest but keep you wanting more.
